The middle screen with Toney in motion would have gone a long way if the DL from FSU didn’t fall into Lofton. Loved the call. Bad luck. I liked how Dawson used him. It will hit.

My only worry there is health. Ideally, he is the guy should benefit the most from the two bye weeks.

If he's so injured, then he shouldn't be playing until he's healthy.

I don't wanna keep hearing about this convenient health excuse if he's not listed on any weekly ACC reports & hasn't missed a game.

Lofton is the only real answer here.

We should try to get Bauman and Lofton the ball down the field. Bauman is slow, but he's wide open down the middle of the field a few times earlier this year. Not a huge fan of targeting Lofton deep down the middle of the field, but he has had some nice downfield catches on the corner routes before. Keep up the screen/swings to him as well. He will break one eventually.

Do you recall last season the massive 30-40 yard catch down field Lofton made; he took a massive hit and limped off....That play alone has me wondering what this kid is capable of. I think he's off a gear or two. Hoping we see more of the freshman Lofton version here soon.

The one against Cal (second play :10 Mark), right? The deep corner from the first half of the bowl game is what I would like to see again. Would be nice to get him on a wheel against a LBer lining him up in the pony set too.

Lofton is clearly looking better than he was in the first few games. The bye weeks are helping.

I have a feeling that it the 2nd half of the season the narrative about Lofton will be completely different than it was a few weeks ago.

I'm not buying it.

It's just a convenient excuse for average performances.

Because trust & believe, the moment Lofton actually has a good game, there won't be a word uttered about how he's so injured & unhealthy.

If he's so hurt, sit him out until he's healed up. If not, stop using it as a crutch.

He plays in every game & averages around 30 snaps a game.

Love the way Shannon Dawson called the game Saturday. Probably his best game, he had Tony white off balance.

Not according to Tony White. He knew every play we were running. We did nothing but get lucky all game.

If another team, had a Talent like Lofton or Schott, the QB and OC would ensure they get the ball and utilize them. Rhett had Will Mallory and made sure he got the rock. Cam made sure Arroyo got the ball.

Instead everything is about fycking blocking in order to get on the field
