not really, a lot of people think if we lose to UF it is the end of the world, but it is not. Don't get me wrong, I don't want UM to lose to UF and neither do I think they lose, but if UM do lose it needs to be in a good way. Meaning, that it should a hard fought, close game with plays being made on both sides of the ball and the UM players leaving everything out on the field. Most people think that if UM lose to UF it means that they have not made any progress, but that is not true at all; one can lose a game and still show promise and improvements. Not only that, but the season is played in 13 games, yes losing the first game can hurt us, but you have 12 other games in the season to show kids why they should come to UM. It is not how you start but how you finish and that is something that has plague us in the last 2 seasons with Richt, the team not improving as the season goes on.
