How is it a "farce"? Only some idiot expecting a complete turnaround of the program from mediocre to playoff caliber in one offseason would make such a claim. Any reasonable person who knows anything about...well...anything, knows it will take a few seasons to progress to where we want to be.Well it is what it is and TNM is a farce so far.
is not so promising after just 5 practices and the issues that plagued CMR schematically on the offense side of the ball are still there. For instance, the OL is so below the level of a top tier Power 5 Blue Blood Program that a true FR is playing left tackle for us. Now granted, as the absolute diehard and homer that I am I do remember a youngster from TX named Andy Fox but from what I have seen at the last two practices Zion is no Andy Fox. To be more specific, the only guy I see playing at the next level from this group is Donaldson and at best he is a second day take for an NFL franchise. Then at QB its the same issues and although on paper there is more talent from this current trio, Tate has to be better than Rosier, he still has done nothing at the highest level of college football and continues to throw ducks all over the field and cannot hit a man in stride on a crossing pattern. No matter what scheme you want to run if the guys upfront look like chicken shi! instead of chicken salad you cant win consistently at this level of football as execution will be exactly what we have seen the last few years which is the epitome of inconsistency.
This reality will impact the defense and as the season goes they will get worn out once again. My "HOMER" goggles convinces me that our depth at just about every position on that side of the ball is much improved but the LB position cannot afford any injuries whatsoever if we are gonna be on the field over sixty percent of the game. Some may argue that we have a punter now and my explanation is once again we have a liability there as for every good punt I have seen its been followed by 3 bad ones and to add to the mix he is now day to day. He's gotta be brought in and fine tuned as there is no need for him to get hurt doing all the things real players do. His positional and hang time work has been better than his deep work which at times has been unacceptable. So in summary TNM looks a lot like the old MIAMI and at best we win 8 games and I predict the TURDS will win in week zero and that absolutely will suck to start my football season. No matter what happens this year or the nest I'll always pay my $200.00 a month for our tickets and cheer on my CANES just praying that somehow some way the glory days will return to my beloved 305.
Either this is a troll or someone Just going for the sake of it. You all see a few things from practice, but nothing concrete that would lead you to believe that this offense/system is anything close to CMR days. Yes, the freshman OT is risky, but until game time... We don’t know what he’ll look like. Stop making these idiotic analysis off a few things you’re seeing and reading from PRACTICE for the season. That’s ridiculous. Smh.. It’s comical and stupid too. Wait til the season begins buddy.

Two years ago we were a 10-win team. Last year if our offense were even marginally better we likely would have been a 10-win team. Given that ANY QB that wins the battle this year will be at least better than last year's situation, and the fact that we have an offensive coordinator who will not have an offensive gameplan that makes no sense and actually accentuates the weakness of the o-line...I see no reason we wouldn't be on the track to improving.Well as the ultimate homer yeah and keep wanting to have all this fixed in 7 months and have it translate into the field but what we are seeing on the field is the stuff we saw in the spring games. We will struggle at the point of attack and rely on smoke and mirrors this year.
Theres no proof that the OL is soft, they are holding their own against our DL who are very talented, especially the first team. Besides Nelson, I am pretty sure every other OL is normal size, so ur just spouting bs. You must have not been on this site very long, becuase there have been plenty of discussions in this board that show how Richts offensive scheme put our OL at a disadvantage. Just by scheme alone the OL can be better than last year. And I'm confident that with whoever we start at qb they will be better than the qb performance from last year.Well what do you think will change here? There is no magic switch that makes you a quality OL and we are very soft and undersized there. Now what can offset that? A stud QB which we don’t have so all good opposing coaches will load the box and dare us to throw just like last 2 years.
Can’t make chicken salad out of chicken shi! and upfront that is where we are at and have been for quite some time.
No, we're not "strong upfront"...but we are STRONGER than last year. We also can expect better play calling that doesn't accentuate the weakness like last year's inexplicable offensive scheme did. We also will have a QB that should be at the minimum a small improvement over last year, and likely at least a solid improvement. Combine that with our defense, and you have a solid season, likely 10 wins. That's called progress. That's what we are looking towards, not becoming Clemson overnight.I’m serious here on all the fronts I’ve pointed out. We are not strong upfront and that’s where you win games.
Funny, I didn't realize Manny and Enos had been with UM for 15 seasons already! As for "the horses", you don't get the horses all at once. You build.Yeah like the last 15 seasons hasn’t been enough time. We don’t have the horses to be elite but we can be above average which in this business gets you fired.
Which cane site will you head to next hoping to find some pathetic self hating douches to be friends with? Your routine is so boring. You didn’t answer my question though. Are you still pretending not to be everything 305 from Canesport?
And what exactly is a fake avatar? I assure you the face in that avatar is a real person.
OP you decided to press post before 8 am. You should've had some morning *** the post would have been a lot different.
OP, so much negativity, looks like somebody definitely got out of the wrong side of the bed today.
Look in the mirror and be honest; might this doom and gloom have something to do with last night's debates?
Andy Fox, never heard of him. ( Jason Fox?)
