The only good play on Saturday

Hooker didn’t even play a snap at Jacurri’s age. In his redshirt freshman year, he didn’t attempt a pass and only ran. When he finally started 8 games in his third year, he attempted 13 or fewer passes in three of them.

It was a developmental process with him.

Didn't Brown get a late start at QB? I thought I read somewhere that He started playing QB in the 10th grade or something like that?

I would love to see him used as an athlete.

Line him up all over.

He can’t throw for ****.. but he’s electric.
He has one of the strongest arms out there. He just needs to be coached.

We shouldn't be critical of freshman that normally wouldn't see the field until year 2 or 3. It's not their fault they are forced into duty before they've had the opportunity to mature as a person and a player.

He's a dynamic athlete. If his QB development progresses, he could be a special player.

I understand he needs to work on his accuracy. Let's be real though, any OC worth a **** could put up points with him right now at QB (Brown).

Garcia, even limited action, looks like ****. He looks like he tries to throw interceptions.

I guess you missed the 3 on 1 catch by X, TS2 locking down wilson the full game with 2 catches not to mention him making multiple other plays

He caused 8 missed tackles and averaged over 3 yards per carry after contact when everyone and their mom knew a) that he was running and b) what play would be called. Kid looks like a stud.

He needs to improve throwing but he wasn't THAT bad, his throw to Xavier was legit. A lot of OC's (not Gattis) could do a lot of damage with him right now.
Why does it seem like only at Miami are the coaches afraid to let a freshman sling the ball and learn?

A lot of OCs would dream about having this kid.

Me telling my boys that I'm outta here if FSU goes up 28 at any point in the 3rd quarter but then having the ability to read defenses and audible that to "I'm gone if they're up 28 at halftime" was a much better play than Jacurri showing some heart and athleticism.

Made it home from Hard Rock to Lauderdale in like 18 minutes.

Turn the keys to Jacurri Brown and see what you have in him. Let TVD get 100% healthy before he takes a snap, if ever again since he most likely will go pro. Garcia who I think most of us were semi high on since he has charisma and great personality just isn't a guy. He brings nothing in the run game and his arm isn't good enough to win.

Brown was one of the few players on team who gave a **** when things got hard on saturday night. That has to mean something. Start the kid and see where it goes. You can be a really good college QB only completing like 50% of your passes if you're a good enough athlete which I think he is.

Jacurri hands it off to Rooster, sprints ahead of the play and delivers the lead block.

He is a big, fast and tough player.

This was a good play too:

I went to look at cars on Saturday...to me the best plays were a) not subjecting myself to UM football and 2) running out of the car lots before salesmen got me on a new car note.

I see a bunch of QBs tearing up the NFL who couldn’t throw at that age.

Jacurri has a twitchy arm. If he keeps working, he can improve. Hendon Hooker is the most recent example. It’s up to him to put in the work (which he seems to embrace) and up to his coaches to accentuate his strengths as he develops.

If it happens, it would be wonderful. I think it's a huge if. There's no bigger luxury for an offense.

I would prefer Garcia with a competent OC as a much more realistic opportunity for improvement next year. I think there are dozens of guys out there who could run a great offense with JG - assuming he isn't mentally obliterated (very possible).

My favorite play of the game. I immediately noticed that. Thumped my chest and yelled YEAH! Not many instances I've been able to do that this year.
