I would like to see his team take the next step before he was given the rains to a school like UM. Much of Memphis's success the last few years was because of their stifling defenses, but Def Coor. Barry Odom has moved on to coach at Mizzo; so now lets see if Fuente can stand on his own or was he a product of Odom's getting off the bus bringing pressure defenses.

That's a great point about his accent because none of the kids in South Florida are used to hearing Spanish accents. It could really catch them off guard.

Do they have Spanish people in Jersey? We don't recruit So Fla kids ;)

The guy seems really smart. We'll all have to see, no one really knows what his thoughts are on UM athletics yet. So why bash him? At least give the guy a chance to fail.

Probably time to gather shovels but given how great the prize was that we are about to bury, let's wait until end of season. This guy probably doesn't even know we play football so keep the shovels handy. Already sent first email to him. Nothing about him indicates he will care about the program, but that doesn't mean we have to let him enjoy his first day on the job. No reason for him to not get at least 1000 emails a day once he gets here from unhappy Canes.

Leftists have everything else (:i.e.: Every news channel, every TV show, every sitcom, every movie, everyone in the music industry, every HBO special, everything that gets filtered thru the major online sites (from yahoo to AOl to Facebook, etc)...

The people who see the truth in our society have only obscure internet sites where the discussion is not filtered based on an agenda. For that reason, we have to expect that those crazy free-market "conservative" types are going to congregate here. Look at the upside, they add to the discussion by being intellectually honest by nature.

I hope it doesn't devolve into a shirtless tough talking turf war between a couple of really handsome swarthy guys with tightly cropped facial hair. I really hope it doesn't.

Harvard > Tufts, especially when your making the announcement the same month the US News Peer Ranking surveys go to University Presidents, who really don't know what is going on at other universities, but rate on name value.
