The More You Know...About Wake Forest

If we dont kill them we are going to get blasted on the 2nd. We need a huge confidence builder before that brutal 2 game stretch.

One does not have anything to with the other. There is no correlation with the other, but it would be a nice confidence boost to put together a nice, mistake free, injury free game against Wake.

Of course not but it means we arent who we thought we were. We need a big game this week to set our guys up for the next two weeks

The fact that their nose tackle is only 250 says to me will will have our way running right at him. Again play to their weakness not their strength.

Maybe, maybe not. We could beat Wake 56-0 and then lose to FSU 56-0. We could also beat Wake 31-24, and then play our best game of the year and beat FSU the next week, maybe because they were overconfident and thought we sucked.

The game before Florida State. It's gonna be a challenge to keep his team focused. Al's got to do his mind magic.

I expect wake to dink and dunk down the field using short passes as their running game. This kid Price is pretty accurate . That said their defensive line is simply too small to withstand our offensive line and I think we run the ball very well against them. If I were price I wouldnt run very often as Scaryman would love to put another Qb out of action.

great intro to Wake. thanks

here's the best line from your write-up: "You know, it feels pretty **** good to be ranked 6th in country."

who would have thought this a year ago or 2 months ago? glad we are back in the national discussion and on the national stage. we are far from perfect but we are pretty **** good when we are playing our best.

Here is the funny thing, have we played our best? Against UF, I think our D played pretty darn close to their best with the amount of possessions UF had and the amount TOs we forced. I think early against UF our offense was firing on all cylinders but that came apart.

If Morris can lead and limit TOs (1 or less), then this team will be much much much improved over what we have seen. This team at it's best would be difficult to stop because this team at it's AVERAGE PERFORMANCE (yeah I said it) is undefeated.

If we can contain Whitlock, we will run all over Wake. We stop him and Price on offense and we are good.

Whitlock was an insane animal in high school, one of those guys who would've been a 5 star if he was 3 inches taller. I expect him to give us **** inside.

agree totally that we have not played a complete game. hopefully we will play a complete game in all three phases against FSU. we will need it. i have no doubt we CAN do it but i am uncertain as to whether we will do it.

" There was a family of 4 sitting next to me that brought ponchos and stayed seated the entire game. I looked to my friend and remarked, "why the **** aren't they standing up?" Turns out they were pros at this. They knew that if you stay seated...your seat doesn't get wet, and your *** stays dry. Veteran move by them. My dumb *** stood up for every 3rd down and big play throughout the game and I **** near caught hypothermia of the butt."

Funny **** right there i almost choked on my pizza reading that
Yeah, this made me laugh hard because I was there and can verify Dan's description of the situation. That was a miserable day, almost made unbearable had we not magically come back against Weak Florist.

That was the one game that Aldarius "Glue Hands" Johnson lived up to his name. He had 2 long receptions on 4th down to keep that drive going long enough for Japicky to find TB3 in the endzone.

Coming out of this game with a W and injury free is key. All the more reason for the team to go full speed and get outta there.

Couldn't agree more. I cannot wait to see this team play its best in all phases of the game. I would say, if we played defensively like we did against UF and offensively like we did in the last drive against UNC, this team would be scary good, and the rest of the nation would recognize it.
