no lie i fell asleep reading that ****...
f**k wake...

I'm guessing that WR will be pulling an Ebron on the defense again Saturday, unless they learned from the UNC game to do what they've been coached.

Not sure about that. This guy is good, but he's not a physical freak like Ebron. This guy has good, not great speed. Doesn't have great size. He has great hands. Basically he's your typical little annoying white WR. He is 5-11, 190, runs a 4.54 in the 40. He has a career 11-12 yards per catch average. He'll get his catches, but he's not the same type of threat Ebron was/is. He's not going to beat us in the same way. We have to account for him, but in a different way.

If he runs a 4 54 realize he's faster than our back seven. Were slow back there imo..kacy rodgers is our fastest db when he is in the game usually. Pure speed wise imo were not that fastnat db..I love gunt and tracy howard

While you're right, it's still not elite speed. 4.54 is not elite speed for a WR. Dorsett, clocked at 4.29 or whatever it was, has elite speed. Even if he's faster than our secondary, he's not a burner like Dorsett who just runs routes to stretch the defenses. He's more a possession guy, and he'll someone said, if he find a way to get open. He has a career 11-12 YPC average for a reason.

Sometimes, it's not necessarily about the speed as much as how he can get open. He's probably good at reading defenses and finding weak spots in the defense, and then getting some YAC.

I know, and I wasn't saying his lack of elite speed was a knock on him. Kid is good. I was saying he's not going to beat us by running by us. He's not going to beat us the way Ebron beat us. He's a different player. He can still beat us, but in different ways.

I think it is pretty obvious, a kid like him is a nightmare on third and 5-7 situations. If we can minimize him in those spots and get off the field we should score points.

I am most interested in seeing how Coley handles the offense this week. Does he try to get SM some easy throws early to get him kind of in a groove or so we just start chucking? I would like to see more rhythm, runs to set up play action. Let that stuff set up for deep balls later in the game. Will we stick with something if its working? Those are the things that will build the consistency this offense needs to beat better defenses.

This is a very well coached team that I don't see beating itself. We are going to have to make it happen. With good technique, solid playcalling and good decisions by the qb. We are waaaayyy over due for a clean game.
