The Syracuse boards are going nutz this morning. They are enthusiastically claiming victory bc DD posted. They are claiming the jinx is back on.

Looks like Syracuse had about 30 more offensive plays than Clemson. Clemson's defense had trouble getting off the field on 3rd down, and were on 2-11 on 3rd down conversions themselves. They have to control Dungy. His rushing yards are skewed by the sacks, but he's definitely a threat.

Syracuse got the upset on Clemson and I know a lot of ppl will be saying "Can they do it two weeks in a row", upset 2 top 10 teams back to back!! BUT I just don't see that happening, I understand Cuse has some good players BUT Miami will bring it.. Our DEFENSE shows up for games like this, look how they performed against the GT offense, our DEFENSE basically shut them down compared to their other games!! AND against Cuse it won't be any different!! I just would like to see our OFFENSE get on a roll early, and that could really help out the D.. Our OFFENSE has gotten it gone late in these last 2 games and fought back to WIN those games, BUT IF they can get it going early against Cuse, Miami can WIN this one easy.. I'm putting this game on the back of the OFFENSE, our D will come out playing BUT like I said before, we need the O to step up and put up point often and early in this one!!

The problem with this game is it exposes the weakest part of the team right now. At least the Clemson game has Miami paying closer attention. This could have been one of those classic look-ahead games, like it was for Clemson last week.
