The Michigan State game just became the Rubicon for the Diaz era

Oh boy. I hope the football team pulls off a victory next week. If not, Manny will have crossed an entirely different river

Miami plays Appalachian State at home next week. If the Canes and Manolo can't get a win there, we have bigger problems.

Michigan State is two weeks out.

10-2… Alabama and MSU ain’t in the same category. Alabama has the beat OL and 1 of the best DL in college.

Manny will have lots of work to do even if he logs a W against MSU, but I really believe we're going to find out what we have as a team and coaches, when we play MSU. And, if God forbid, we don't win...oh baby...

But, even if we do win, I think we'll learn a ton about our team after we play Sparty. That game just became huge for us!
Your Ceasars reference is great, but I doubt most Mannyfanboys here will get it

OP - don’t ever make a historical comparison to one of the greatest field commanders in the history of man and manny Diaz. Michigan State isn’t the rubicon. Diaz isn’t Julius.

The proper comparison is to Nero fiddling or maybe the debauched character Caligula as Manny is much more likely to be engaged in the type of degeneracy like ******* a horse than running a successful empire.
Remember Alesia? That was some Saban style coaching!

There is a vast disconnect between the way fans think and the way the Hecht Center and the BOT thinks. Fans want wins and championships, and the Hecht and the BOT want the biggest positive revenue stream they can get. As long as there are idiots buying tickets and merchandise and watching the games, nothing will change. The ONLY thing that will create change is if they start losing money on the program - then they won't be able to fund all those wonderful Title IX sports they love so much.

How in the world did yall schedule Michigan State after the Alabama OOC game? That seems ambitious. I got a chance to watch the MSU game and Mel Tucker's bunch looks like a different crew this time. Mel was a great coach and recruiter for Bama during his time here. He actually looks like they're playing about as well as they can on both sides of the LOS with a young team.

Miami is going to win an ugly game against App State. Everyone needs to chill with that.

The real question is will Manny going to slip and slide on the sideline after defeating App State?

If we keep playing passive soft zone and can’t tackle.. any team on the schedule can beat us.

People act like the light is suddenly going to come on post Alabama.

manny been here 6 years. Sample size is large enough to predict future results.

I don’t know how anyone could have watched yesterday’s game and come away with any positive feelings. I’m much less optimistic about the current state and future of the program than I was 24 hours ago. We looked ill- prepared, overwhelmed and irrelevant to the national picture.

That being said I also think it is way premature to throw the towel in on the season. Lets see how this week turns out and then the next…pretty soon we will have clarity.

If manure ***** the bed this year which based on his 6 year sample size the odds are very good. Then Suntan U will definitely start losing money next year along with a season of such toxicity itll bring back nightmares of 2015 for wine and cheese BOT club.
