The JoJo thread

This is his second year in the program with next to nothing shown . At this point I don’t want to hear about hype . It’s show me time . On and off the field. I never thought he was a five star type recruit but I expected better than what we’ve gotten.

What's really wild is if you asked anyone who talked to anyone at Miami in the summer, who are the best players on the offense, you'd have gotten: Lyle, Trader, Toney, and Lofton in no particular order.

Toney has been the 2nd coming of Christ, and I think even his biggest fan would even say he's at least somewhat exceeded expectations.

But, the other 3 have COMBINED for:

17 carries for 44 yards, 14 catches for 119 yards, 0 TDs. FOR ALL 3 OF THEM!

And we're 5-1 and ranked in the top 10. I guess that makes me feel somewhat good?

As I said over a month ago “ jojo is a good kid but immature as ****”. He caused this and apparently doesn’t want to take accountability . As I try to stress to the recruit I’m close with “keep yourself out of bad situations and take accountability for your actions. The decisions you make now can potentially have a big effect on your future. People that actually care about you and your future will tell you the same. People that defend stupid decisions are sadly just as ignorant and immature as you. His excuse is he’s only 18-19. At this point i’m sick of seeing his name and discussion. Hes done next to nothing here and doesn’t deserve the attention. Let him earn it.
Well, guess what's been said on Twitter is true.

If you gonna fk up off the field, you have to be a monster on it. I dont know what happened, but am always skeptical of players who fans a re clamouring for, most of the times they go elsewhere and show exactly why they werent playing.

We also have had players who should have played more. Some of them went to SMU and got drafted. If Jo Jo doesnt play v what we have left on the schedule, i fear that's all she wrote for him here. Sad.

We do this all the time.

We anoint a player who hasn't done anything the "best player ever at their position" and then when they don't get on the field, we assume the coach has some secret vendetta to keep the player off the field.

This dates back to Willie Williams and Latwan Anderson and probably 100s of other folks whose names I've forgotten.

I want Trader to play to his ranking and I too am intrigued but all this commotion over him isn't warranted. The coaches usually put the players that will make them look good on the field. If he can't get in, it's likely not a conspiracy, it's him.

I admit I got sucked up into the hype. A few good practice videos and what seemed like great balance and catch radius had me hopeful. It's not like we had much to go off otherwise though, one nice catch in the bowl game. Wild he has an example of a young kid who comes in and works his *** of and he's ok taking a back seat and not upping his game. I'm too competitive and would have hoped much of these kids recruited were much the same. I'll be damned a kid would over take me based on effort, but here we are. He's all yours Lashlee.

latwan “he’s a track athlete and doesn’t get postgame popeyes” anderson is a true cis hall of famer.

Is it true that he only went out there once and was pulled? Has anyone actually seen the play?

Trader wasn’t driving
It doesn't matter he's 20, and it's illegal in Florida to be high under 21; it would be the same if he were drunk underage in a vehicle. There was an accident, and the police had to be involved. Don't put yourself in these situations and not expect to get in trouble when something happens.

All this time the OP implied Jojo did nothing wrong and Mario’s ego is keeping him off the field. It turns out he got in trouble with the police, was punished and has a ****** work ethic? This didn’t turn out how the OP was expecting.
I tried to tell @TouchMoney26 multiple times that this would probably make things worse for Jojo rather than help him.

i do not see what anyone else sees in lofton right now either.

think he was overhyped like crazy. the only offensive playmaker that we actually have is toney followed by daniels.

It’s why the OP is a genius for his timing

Had we blown Louisville out this would be 2 pages long with a bunch of people saying “get on the bus or gtfo”

But now people are desperate for a life preserver

We did it last year with Damari Brown. Our defense was gonna be saved if only he could get healthy!

Our offense would suddenly be unlocked if only JoJo were playing!

our offense would be **** sure better if we used more receivers other than 3 and two tight ends bunched together.

jesus **** even run out of wider splits but as gabby said on a pod today or yesterday, they wont change the system. this is only what they practice and only what they will do. they just have to execute better blah blah blah.

were ****ed if beck goes into a tailspin basically bc hes gonna have to carry this offense on his back

My post was simply to point out the obvious and well timed troll job by those pushing this narrative
