Jimmy Johnson was once asked if he treated good players differently than average players… he obviously said yes, he did.

That's fair. Information asymmetry is definitely playing a role, too, as these declines probably don't seem as sudden to the people in the building with more information/date points that see the player nearly every day (versus us fans who only get updates every so often).

I take most of what hear from coaches, players, “reporters” and especially many CIS posters with a grain of salt.

It’s apparent he doesn’t know **** about the game. He also said Beck looked like a first rounder in camp. 500 interceptions later, he’s a first rounder probably in the CFL draft.

Yea I think his football takes are mainly superficial and the homerism is just insanely over the top. Not too much knowledge of the X’s and O’s but he’s prob never played at a high level and has the eyes of a fan which is ok. It just shows with some of his takes.

I mean I don’t think it’s that disrespectful to say I’m not high on his opinions. But we’re also talking about the guy that publicly says about 20 year olds on the other team that “they suck” “he’s trash” “he’s a joke” I mean if we’re talking about disrespectful that would probably be at the top of my list.we can’t be critical about someone that criticizes for a living on the internet? You got it big dog.

This is a message board. We have the right to agree and disagree with his opinions and everyone else’s. You say you aren’t an asskisser but I suspect different. I don’t think he needs you to go to bat for him.
