The intensity of the staff on the 2027 class…

Has anyone deciphered Smiff's tweet from ystdy.?

Mario Cristobal is the reason CFB27 gonna be so hard to recruit.

Gonna need a colada just to get through Week 7 recruiting because of this MFr.

If its in the game its in the game.

Bruh. Man only a chat. All it takes is for one of them to funnel some money their way and they will all fold like they do for blue and white star.

You're not wrong but you are failing to fully connect the dots. The big media companies have controlled college football for the past century. They've had two control mechanisms; The NCAA and the AP poll. The playoff has diminished the AP Poll and the Supreme Court *****-slapped the NCAA.

The Big Media companies are who wants this super league. They need to protect their bell cows (Alabama, et al) who are now getting outspent. In this video Ted Cruz is basically saying that congress will step in as long as the BiG and SEC don't try to **** up the game for Disney and Fox.

I dont think they are worried or doing anything because of changes coming. I think they can puff their chest because they have proof of concept. They are not selling a hope or maybe anymore. We had 2, 3 and dones from out first full class, one 2 a done Juco amd a bunch of draft picks. Beat SEC haas and Toney is a national super star.

People think portal and NIL changes will be bad for us, i disagree. Cristobal would be a beast in pre NIL and portal recruiting and then not have to re-recruit his roster every offseason.
I dont think people realize Mario can recruit in any era. Nothing holds him back other than recruits telling him "no". I cant think of any recruiter than can adapt to changes in the landscape of recruiting faster than Mario. I see fans asking if Congress does make changes should we be worried as fans in that the changes might negatively effect us. Doubt it, Mario will adjust (quicker than the majority of the old head coaches within the SEC) and we will be fine.

It was because of money and playing time but I can see Mario try to flip him. If Auburn is a dumpster fire and he sees that we reloaded on the line maybe he’s willing to take a slight pay cut.
Do we need him anymore? It’s a small class. Not sure we need 2 RBs. He had his chance.
With Fletcher’s success we are now Bama when it comes to big backs.

They say dude is Fletcher with a higher top gear so if he wants in at a reasonable price then yeah.

If he wants to be paid like Texas paid cooper then I’d pass as that’s not a wise use of resources.

Wonder if people are still saying Mario’s recruiting prowess is being nullified by NIL?

MJC chose auburn right? No way he sticks there

Of note, Alabama's recruiting seems to have fallen off a cliff. They are currently ranked 53rd in the 247 rankings, Auburn is 23rd. Auburn almost beat Alabama last season with a Rent-A-Center head coach.

I'm a big Alex Golesh fan. He did well at USF. I also think Byrum Brown is a stud QB. I wouldn't sleep on Auburn right now.

The dude that can barely throw is a stud QB?

He's thrown for 3100+ yards in two different seasons while also rushing for 800 and 1000 yards respectively.

28 TD's against 7 Int's last season (while also rushing for 14 TD's). Not sure how you're coming up with that "can barely throw" comment.
