We practiced in mid-December for the disaster in Shreveport so it's been about a month. There is a ton to complain about but practice fields for the 49ers are not. Rapoport needed a non-story.

It's not a non-story if an entire field was replaced. It would be a non-story if the 49ers wanted the field changed, then we said no, and then they said OK.

It is a major f-ing issue if our field needed to be replaced for safety purposes. WHICH IT WAS. So stop playing the "it's a non-story" card.

It took us A YEAR to grow a field that was in such bad condition, the NFL immediately deemed it unsafe.

Then, we refuse to change the field unless the Niners pay for it.
