Well uh yeah it's easy to do well in recruiting and look 'so competent' when you have the most money to spend. It's like USC is the team in FA that has the most money to spend like the Patriots this offseason and we are the packers, and then being like 'If we were as well run as the patriots, we'd be much better!'.... riiiiight.....

And see you say we may be north of $28M... well that doesn't matter much if there are 10 other programs at that same spending level, now does it? It's all relative. And it doesn't help us much for THIS HS recruiting class if most of our money available is tied up to guys currently playing and that we expect back next season. $28M roster doesn't mean you have ability to spend at top 3 level for this specific HS class. And maybe if it did it'd likely mean we had no ability to spend in the portal. Would you prefer that? or the more balanced approach of maybe a slightly worse HS class than you're capable of and getting a slightly better portal class?...

I think we agree on A & B, not on C. I respect your opinion. SC will probably go 8-4 this year. Finish in top 3 for recruiting. My point is this is a rapidly professionalizing sport. Whether the best analogy is premier league soccer, mlb or the nfl as far as $$ is concerned idk. But the fact is, like any business it comes down to management. And what I am trying my best to articulate is ours sucks. And until we have a real GM and real structure we’re ****ed. With mario I don’t see that changing. I hope we have a magical season, I will never root against us

We’re poorly run, period, end of story. If you don’t think not taking a knee vs GT doesn’t translate across the operation, I have some beach front property in Iowa to sell you

If Cam Kinchens was 6’2 and ran a 4.4 he never would’ve signed with Miami.

We have been losing battles for the Elite of the elite dudes for years. Mario and the money we’re spending levels it out a bit. But we’re still behind from the looks of it.

the big money were spending before at usc as well. They just suck...yallf orgot they bought up everything n the portal an lost...now they are buying up everything hs and are still gonna lose because riley isnt that good of a coach. He tried to run to usc to get away with a sorrier conference then usc jumps to the big ten where they have no chance of winning that conference lol i just know he was mad when that happened.

If you watched the game you will notice there were 2 horrific moronic penalties by the Gators that changed the ENTIRE complexion of the game. The game this year will be very tight and forget about last year.

I mean half you insiders say we are very professionally run and especially recently have upgraded a lot of aspects of our approach AND that even Dennis Smith had already received a big demotion.... yet half say stuff like this, and then EVERY single time anything negative happens in recruiting you will see a "Dennis Sniff Sucks" type of response....

So no I don't think it is a fact or anything that we are more poorly run than USC lol. In fact If I were betting, I'd definitely bet we are better run than they are. I guess we will see if their recruiting class falls apart like it did last year and when their GM guy was at ND when their class fell apart as well... I mean maybe with all the NIL changes this year and how contracts will run, mabye getting ALL those guys on board asap does end up working in their favor this year. It didn't last year though. And it didn't when that dude was at ND either....
