Can't wait for the next Mike Williams in year ******* five.

"### With the transfer of Antonio Crawford and graduation of Ladarius Gunter, UM is down to three experienced cornerbacks, one inexperienced one (Ryan Mayes, who has had a good spring but “has a long way to go,” Al Golden said) and three freshmen summer arrivals.

“We’ll probably be one short; we’ll see if there’s someone available,” Golden said. Expect UM to investigate adding a transfer who’s eligible immediately. Golden said Deon Bush could play cornerback if needed, but he's UM's best safety."

Broooo, the fact the we literally were forced to remember Mike Williams at the same time this morning is one of the disturbing things about the current state of this program. God, I'm off to kill myself.

Pair that up with the biggest liability on the coaching staff. Can't afford any type of injury to the top 3, which are pretty good.

The university of Miami should never lack for depth or talent at DB. Never, ever, ever. This alone should be reason for termination.

Good point but given the trifecta of Al to Mark to Paul, does it really matter if we have CBs?

And combine that with a (arguably) colossal failure to land the best CBs in miami in this past year's 2015 class.

Not when we have guys AQM back, he will surely be used to cover the slot.
****** part is you can mask some deficiencies in the secondary with a great pass rush. Tough to do when your best pass rushers are in coverage.

No doubt. It would have been difficult to purposely **** up as bad as this staff did, but they pulled it off. There were some legit freshman starters out there.

no excuse, **** shame!!! Guy can't get out of his own way. For every positive step he takes, he takes several back! This was a huge year in south florida, but even in a normal year, there are a handful of top talent across the state.

**** before football even took off at "Miami" we were turnout DBs!!! **** shame...smh. skill players should never be an issue!!!

Quick search on 24/7 resulted in these numbers:

In the 2014 class there were 49 CBs from the state of Florida signed to a D1 LOI.
In the 2015 class there were 51 CBs from the state of Florida signed to a D1 LOI.

Miami signed 3- Mayes, Redwine, Henley

Miami had a 3% success rate.

get this guy out of my face. His ineptitude knows no bounds. Absolutely pathetic how he recruited the position the last two years, especially considering the dearth of talent at the position in south Florida the last recruiting cycle. This is going to be a loooooong year waiting for his *** to get fired. CAN'T WAIT!

I don't see what all the hubub's about provided people stay healthy.

In 1999 we had Rumph, Myers, Fitzgerald and Buchanon (true freshman)

In 2015 we'll have Howard, Burns, Elder and we'll need one of the freshmen to step up and be the 4th cb.

What are these "positive step" you're referring to? i've seen nothing, but consistent failure.

"dearth of talent" means there was virtually none. there was an abundance of stud CBs down here.

In 99 where we were just coming off the most loftiest of sanctions. I'm assuming you're being sarcastic though.
