Chips..all about chips for me. In no way is Butch better than Saban..no modern coach could ever say that. The only coach weā€™ve had who could is Jimmy. Thatā€™s just a fact.

Jimmy Johnson is who some of yā€™all think Butch was. He wouldā€™ve ran of at least 6 nattys at Miami. honestly I just like messing with @caneinorlando on this subject. Itā€™s not personal or serious. Iā€™m pretty sure he gets that by now

Butch assembled a quality staff, evaluated and recruited well, and those efforts showed up on the field. This was at a time when we thought we were done for good, relegated to mediocrity. Basically, where we are now.

We should be so lucky to have another Butch Davis.

Iā€™d say longer... we would have cruising in the ACC with him and most assuredly never let Clemson rise to the level they are now or let FSU horde the talent they did in 2013.

would we have been as dominate as that early 00s stretch? Maybe not but we be perennial 10 win team with nice seasons (maybe a natty or two) think OSU of the big ten.
