This is obviously embarrassing and inexcusable on Franklin’s part but how would you feel if your future career prospects were being sabotaged by a group of grossly incompetent coaches?

I’m sure he had made his frustrations clear privately before this. Today was probably his breaking point. Everyone has their limit.

I hope he’s able to transfer to a program that will use his talent properly. The kid can obviously play. It’s unfortunate we have a group of coaches who can’t see that.

WTF??? "The kid can obviously play" ..... apparently you have never watched a freaking UM football game. Franklin plays like he weighs 140 not 240. He was PASSED OVER ON THE DEPTH CHART BY A WALK ON!!! In 3rd and 1 situations they give the ball to a 190 pound back ... who runs HARD and gets yards ... because Franklin has CONSISTENTLY DEMONSTRATED THAT HE CANNOT PLAY. Hasn't shown the interest in practice, in lifting, in personal work. Other guys work hard, he doesn't and HE gets ****ed because he isn't getting reps? Doesn't work that way.

With Citizen and Chaney out since preseason Thad was the only big back on the roster. Perfect opportunity to be at least be the short yardage, goal line RB the team needs. Gotta earn it though.

I want to see what’s in this roster after spring of next year. That’s when we see what direction. Until then, everything is just noise. We are going to have a lot of Leo ember in and out of the program it happens any time there is a new coach and even more now with NIL AND PORTAL

He had the opportunity and frame to be the power back but hasn't shown he has the capability to be a power back.

His running style for whatever reason is that of a speedster/finesse back. It seems like he has the mindset of an undersized cornerback (avoid contact) but has the frame of a big linebacker. He can't run like a finesse back but tries to anyways. He goes down with the slightest touch and has absolutely no thump.

But y’all said Mario didn’t have bum players. This was a top option at RB for us this season .
