Terry Jefferson New CB coach

Im here for it. Lol. Yesterday I watched pobrecito @cookies get ensnared in a trap. Today there’s a few lines that he’s cast out but the CIS fish aren’t biting.

The first time Dabo promoted from within was with Tony Elliot and Jeff Scott as co-OCs; the media made a big deal of it as if Clemson would not score points without Chad Morris. Hiring from within isn’t really the issue; nor is it being too sentimental to fire guys.

He quickly got rid of Brandon Streeter after Elliot went to UVA; then, brought in Garrett Riley to coordinate the offense the past three years.

The biggest causation for Clemson’s drop-off is the loss of Brent Venerables. Not using the transfer portal earlier on is an overstated causation as well. When Brent leaves, their scoring defense stops being consistently ranked in the top ten; with the infrequent exception during his tenure.

It’s Tom Allen’s defense now and fate of Dabo’s future depends on Allen doing a **** good job.

The major cause for Clemson's fall has to be attributed to the poor QB play.

Watson and Lawrence help a coach look pretty good

He won with Taj Boyd, Kelly Bryant and even to some extent Cole Stoudt in 2014. 2023 is the first time since 2010, when Billy Napier is the OC, Clemson doesn’t win ten games.

Cade regressed big-time however they went 9-0 in the ACC, 11-3 in total, with DJ in 2022. Cade Klubnick is still a NFL quarterback who threw 36 touchdowns with 6 interceptions as a junior when Clemson made the playoffs. Their losses that year were to Louisville, Georgia, Texas, and South Carolina who were all 9+ win teams.
