Tee Martin

Would take Tee as a recruiter/analyst or even QB coach if it meant Jon getting fired.

But if yall don't watch a lot of USC football I encourage you to go on YTube & watch games he's called over the last 2 years... No bueno.

In a conference that plays little to no defense, outside of Utah and Washington. It was very concerning watching USC and how they waste such a talent advantage. Mind you, USC is easy to recruit itself. I can't recall a year they ever finished out of the top 10. They have no competition within the state; Stanford has strict academic requiprements, and Cal and UCLA are not the type of programs that are going to threaten USC.

Wasn’t Jt Daniels supposed to be in highschool this year as he reclassified to the 2018 class? In addition to that they also lost Ronald jones who was a beast at usc. That’s a lot of production

Brock, have you ever watched a USC game? I watch a lot of USC football. They're pretty bad on offense and show a lot of similarities as to what's going on here. Tee Martin isn't even putting a band-aid on a gun shot wound. It wouldn't work here. There are plenty of better candidates out there.

Yea thats like Miami hire another fired guy
This is meaningless
Diaz was fired before and he turned out overall to be a good hire for Miami.

Lane kiffin was fired, he turned out to be an excellent hire for bama and the list I’m sure could go on

He had the #13 and #20 offense in the country Calling plays at usc in 2016 and 2017 but “our offense wouldn’t improve much with him calling plays”.. I’m sorry what? We have been ranked 54th or something like that in 2016, in the 60s in 2017 and in 2018 in the 100-110 rank in offenses in the country. And he’s not a good recruiter he’s an elite recruiter there’s a difference

He had Sam Darnold who was a top 5 NFL draft pick. So as long as he has a QB that is uber-talented, he'll be fine. But if he has our QBs, he's ****ed.

And for as good as darnold was he made a lot of crazy decision with the ball and was a turnover machine.

Fair argument but for a counterpoint I think Really highly of Bobby petrino acumen I’m calling plays but he also looked like sh*t on offense when he lost a transcendent talent at qb this year too. Do I think petrino is a bad play caller because of 2018? No.

Side note: how would you feel about petrino calling plays?

Manny Diaz spent years rebuilding his career. He went from Texas to LaTech. Pretty significant demotion.

Kiffin didn’t go from USC tarmac to HC at Notre Dame. He went to OC. A demotion. And now he’s at FAU. That’s kind of not the same as USC HC.

To say getting fired is meaningless is flat out retarded. You don’t get fired for being successful.

Was Tee Brown a successful HC w NFL HC experience now?

At this point, I'd rather go with someone like Matt Canada or Bill Bedenbaugh. ****, I'd even take Toledo's OC. I want guys that are young and innovative that are projecting up. Petrino is about the same age as Richt and looks washed. He's also going to want to be a HC, not an OC.

That's about as good of an argument that could be made.

Tbh Im a lane kiffin fan. I think He would do well here if he’s able to hire someone with an attacking 4-3 defense. With his bravado and confidence he’s a better fit for Miami than richt. He’s paid his dues , learned how to win at bama too

I think Kiffin would be a great HC here. BC he took his lumps, demotion, and is building his resume back up. Like Diaz did

True I just want someone who has a great offensive scheme and evidence in the past of having a good offense and also someone who can recruit at an elite level which we sorely need. Not saying he is a perfect candidate by any means but that’s why I like The potential intrigue of tee Martin on our our staff somewhere if not for oc.

Matt canada would be a good hire too but he just doesn’t stick around long enough anywhere he goes. He’s a journeyman coach.

Does Bedenaugh call plays at Oklahoma or does Lincoln Riley?

Also seen on twitter Kyle dillingham now auburn oc followed 3 Miami accounts within the last few days (Blake James, canesfootball and state of the u). He also followed Jeremy Pruitt, Phillip fulmer for Tennessee. So that’s interesting

U make a good point, I just want this staff gone though. To me its over they wont be able to climb out of the hole they dug

I think Riley still makes the calls. Bedenbaugh I think is more of a coordinator similar to Brown and Thomas. But I mention him as he'd be willing to take the next step as full fledge OC. I'm also trying to go up that Lincoln Riley tree if I'm Richt.

The Virginia game did a lot of damage, but it was salvageable. What did Richt in is when he kept doubling down on his offense and making bull **** promotions on the defensive side of the ball.
