You making it a personal attack on BrooklynDee wasn't what I was going for.

Take BrooklynDee's opinion away, and you have 2 similar prospects in Johnson and Taisun. I'd be happy with either one.

The issue is, Richt and Lil Richt's QB eval abilities. Based on last cycle with Sitkowski, these dudes have me nervous AF.

We appeared to have 3 quality freshman QB (2 RS and a true FS) 2019 is the perfect year to gamble and shoot for the moon with the QB position. In a worse case if we fail on the top targets we have the talent internally. Lets bring a program changer in 2019.

According to 247, Jarren was offered October 2016. A few months later, Sitkowski committed to Miami. It **** sure wasn't game film that had the Richts excited about Sitkowski because when the 2017 season started, Sitkowski was exposed and the Richts looked fuggin ridiculous.

They need to get this right.

That's how i see it - we wouldn't know a kid from Connecticut was high on the Canes. You can say the same about any kid that far away, highly ranked or not.

But once we did and look at the tape, even when he was a 3-star kid, many liked what they saw. Now that he's getting noticed and jumping in the rankings...and pulling more eyes/offers, it's only a matter of time before he starts looking elsewhere.

Congrats on Taisun for getting the #1 DT slot on 247 but they said themselves they've haven't even seen him in action and definitely haven't seen tape of him vs top comp or even mediocre comp. So ask yourself what are they actually basing this ranking off of if they haven't seen him play........

I wouldn't be happy with myself rewriting the entire thing out. I was already embarrassed with how long I spent on it. But just know.. I nailed it.

This is what I been saying, don't care if he was the second coming and said all the right things. Odds are we aren't getting a kid from Oregon whose dad coaches for Oregon LOL Maybe if it was Mike Rumph's son we would have a chance, idk.

We are batting a pretty low percentage on recruits with a prior relationship with Rumph, and are winless on recruits that he is "like a father" to. His son would be pretty far from a lock.
 
Rivals just released an article with Tai...he talked up Michigan, Penn St & FSU. FSU new OC that use to be at Maryland and Tai have known each other since then and he wants to visit down there in the spring. Tai mentioned he wanted offers from LSU & Clemson......we really gone blow this ****

If Tyson Campbell's dad worked at UGA, would you be mad that we are recruiting him 12 months from NSD, 10 months from E-NSD? Or more upset that we didn't even bother.
