15 pages of the same b.s post after post. If the guy could play he would be especially at a position of need. The fact that he's not tells me all I need to know. Just because he was " instinctual " against some basic high school offensives doesn't mean that he will have an instant college impact. 15 pages of the same garbage is overkill. Bama recruits high 4* and 5* guys yearly that never see the field nor pan out. I'm thinking about starting a thread with the same concept asking if anyone else heard a conversation at the players gate that nobody else including media has reported or heard.
This boars is turning into Info Wars. Just throw some garbage out there and see who bites
Brosef, they have not been showing up here for years. Linebackers know.Real talk, if I was a linebacker I wouldn't come play in this current scheme, hurts to say
Christ, the D sucks, just play fast guys and let the run around trying to decapitate people. What could be worse than the gong show on D now.Seeing as the youth movement has saved Manny's job the last 2 weeks (and he's not too dumb to know that), its quite baffling TAC and Chase cant get 5-10 snaps to see how they perform and go from there
But this is classic Manny - whenever he is in a close game, he ALWAYS reverts to his seniors and guys who "know the playbook" instead of younger talent he can't "trust" not to make a mistake. And we all know how it plays out - Hall, Carter, Flagg, Jennings, etc. will be in the right spot anddddd miss the play.
You are my man. My dude just turned 14. Bud, you have an issue with athletics, talk to your coach. Learn how to communicate with an adult. Educational issues, talk to your teacher. Girl problems, talk to your mother….That’s exactly what it is. I have kids that play sports, not going to get into specifics because that’s personal, but I can guarantee you that if there’s an issue with playing time, they better fūcking work it out themselves with the coaches. That’s not for me to get involved with.
The Ray Lewis strawman tactic isn't going to cut it my friend. You know very well what it is we are referring to and please don't tell me that you need me to explain it to you. I like you fraggle. I really do and you go way back to the old Grassy boards but you are better than this. The point we are discussing is valid and doesn't need defending. The atrocious LB play we have seen is only surpassed by the sheer incompetence of this staff. So the assumption here is that TAC is the next Ray Lewis even though he rides the bench as a 6' 1" 205 lb linebacker. I've been a critic of Patke but gossip like this is worthless trash. Interesting to se how the thread denigrates into more and more negativity. This after a nice win on the road, go figure!
How did Gus Edwards work out? I said back then he was being misused by the coaches. We don't know how to use and block for bigger backs. Still don't. Everyone called him Tarzan playing like Jane. I knew and said he had the goods. Been cashing NFL check for 3 years now.You saw Cribby just list his most likely transfer spots. Rutgers and Syracuse. If that is the case I don’t see how you are getting these Devin White comparisons. As much as it sucks so far our transfer attrition has not outdone what they did here for the most part.
If u think about it… you may quickly realize that Jesus was the human half of GodI mentioned it in another thread recently, but if you do a search of the word "Jesus" by @Confidence1000, you'll quickly realize it's like half his posts, lol.
This exactly. They fell in love with Flagg because he has good instincts and was well coached in high school and that is the key right there. The fact that Flagg was well coached in high school means that this coaching staff doesn't need to spend the extra time with him pounding in the basic fundamentals etc that they may need to with TAC. In other words Flagg is a high floor player with a very low ceiling and TAC had a lower floor yet has a much higher ceiling. These coaches just don't have the chops necessary to develop players like TAC so they throw out younger kids like Flagg who have high floors and have already been coached in the basics. They augment this by playing veterans who have marginal ability but a ton of experience and know where to line up, where to be etc. The staff is lazy and incompetent. Consequently we have guys like TAC, and Huff who are far superior athletically and have much higher ceilings than guys like Jennings and Flagg just rotting on the bench because the staff doesn't want to take the time or effort to develop them largely because they don't have the skills to develop them. It's absolutely pathetic.Because they fell in love with Flagg from the Spring game. Flagg has more instincts and played a higher level of football in high school where he was taught the position better IMO.
The thing is thst Flagg for the most part isn't playing at the level he did in the Spring and I think it’s because he can play faster against his own team where he knows what the offense is going to do
I think Austin-Cave has the highest ceiling at MLB. He should get an opportunity to show what he can do. If anything else, it should be to hold the others in front of him accountable.
So your cool with black balling players? Nice.Jennings isn’t playing much. TAC was injured not long ago and we played a close game that we won against the best team on our side of the conference. To moan about playing time in that scenario is sour grapes. If he doesn’t get snaps agains the teams on the remainder of our schedule I understand.

It doesn't matter what school you play st. If you can play, the NFL will find you.
Develop? When the guys in front of him going to develop? No.
Let's take just this year.
All of these freshmen have gotten snaps in meaningful moments this season (meaning, any game excluding Central CT State): Kam, James Williams, Brinson, LT, Brashard, Cody Brown, Jacolby, Avantae, and Arroyo.
Can you argue that some of the kids that have gotten 2nd team reps have seemingly outplayed 1s? Sure. But they're at least getting on the field and getting reps.
Tirek isn't. Clealy, some FR are doing in practice more than enough to get reps. Again, Tirek isn't. The idea that there may be some conspiracy against Tirek but not against all the other 1st year players that have played this year logically doesn't add up.
Hopefully, it's just a case of him needing to learn and hopefully, he becomes a contributor. He's a RS FR. Let's give him time to develop.
You're right on point. It's really tragic that Travis Williams took the UCF DC job. I really think he would have made a huge difference and we'd see different players on the field if he were given autonomy from Diaz to make decisions on playing time. This exactly. No doubt and that is a great point on T. Will. When he left to take the DC job at UCF I knew right away that it would turn out to be a crushing blow to the defense. I agree that with Travis Williams coaching LBs we very likely see TAC, Huff and an all around different vibe in terms of that position group. A have a great friend who played WR for UM back in 76-77. I've known him for over 20 years and he has consistently drilled one thing into my head during all that time. "Coaching, coaching, coaching!". Obviously talent is necessary but good coaching is absolutely crucial to the development of that talent. We have been lacking that type of coaching especially at the LB position for far too long now. You're right on point. It's really tragic that Travis Williams took the UCF DC job. I really think he would have made a huge difference and we'd see different players on the field if he were given autonomy from Diaz to make decisions on playing time.
I can understand if TAC somehow isn't putting it together on the practice field but 44 and 17 are to get the nod. However, when it comes to the actual game and we see 44 and 17 just aren't getting it done then why not give TAC and Huff a chance. Mind blowing. TAC over 44 all fu***** day.
Your boy has been playing well the last couple of games. When has 17 not gotten it done?
