He's legit....multiple incentives if he's brought onboard...1) Texas recruiting ties as he played HS ball there....2) Recruited at UGA/Miss St so safe to say his recruiting is somewhere between good and really good to great....3) Coached DL with Philly during their SB winning season, he was THE DL coach so he knows FOOTBALL......Who is Chris Wilson
That’s cool and all but I’d rather believe a few select people here
No to all that. Don't want strong, don't want Baker sticking around.
Let me say this: Put your hands on the zip. Dont move em now tho.I’d unzip but I don’t believe a thing 247 says
pass on both. partridge me at DL coach lockette at stLet’s leavitt and and Kevin Patrick and put DVD at special teams
Skrong is well respected in Florida and also has connections to Texas recruiting. He's also an excellent recruiter in his own right. One of the biggest complaints about the D was the lack of discipline and accountability. The D needs an adult in the room and the fact that he was a HC at one of the biggest pressure cookers in CFB can help Diaz. We can worry about getting a genius DC in a couple years after the D shows it has mastered basic fundamentals. He'd also be a bargain. Skrong would also only be around for a couple years (if he's successful on D, he'd be hired as a HC somewhere) so Diaz will have the opportunity to get that genius DC you want later.
D Recruits seem to like Baker so he still has some tiny bit of value. Miami wouldn't have landed 2 5 star players on defense if they didn't like Baker. Patke brings nothing to the table and he makes almost the same as Baker. Baker shouldnt be calling plays but it doesn't bother me if he's on staff in some capacity. Patke does nothing yet commands almost a half million dollar salary.
I think most reasonable fans would be quite happy with the staff I proposed. You and a few others might not be, but there will always be fans who will complain incessantly that Diaz didn't hire the exact people they wanted and refuse to see the merit of other coaches.
I know he was there a long time ago but they would hire Steele as a HC?not sure if posted but miami has been talking to steele for a while now. place to look out for is tenn if pruitt is fired
So it's not a done deal yet...although I'm with you as I think that's what he does...but I won't put it past CMD to have thrown our hat in the ring...let's see what happensMuschamp goes to Georgia.

Prost!!!! For the good info you and others have broughtConsidering Reynolds said that multiple hires are coming (and me knowing only one after T Rob) I ASSUME the other one is to replace Baker.
He'd be a great hireChris is the D-Line coach at Colorado. Manny has worked with him at Miss St.
He was the D-Line coach for the eagles team that won the Super Bowl. The guy is really good.
Google the ****! You will then know all about him.Forgive my ignorance, but could you give us a little preview on who Chris is and why this is a good thing.
THATS THE SPIRIT, PERFECT
Watch how quickly all the stupid excuses that Michael T. Rump's water carriers used for him disappear. He was sabotaged by everyone. He had all these great CBs lined up ready to come that Manure wouldn't let him sign. Instantly, all that nonsense and excuses goes out the window.
I think and hope you're right. Given our location, no excuse for Miami to not be loaded with CB talent. Rumph's a decent guy, but he should be coaching in the NFL where you don't need to recruit. He just doesn't have the personality to sell.Watch how quickly all the stupid excuses that Michael T. Rump's water carriers used for him disappear. He was sabotaged by everyone. Baker should be next. Let him do it now so he can still find a job in the DII or DIII levelSomeone just posted on 247 that Patke is out.View attachment 140507
