I like to think of "swag16" as "class of 2020." Before anything else I know those young men today will transform into tomorrow's leadership, off the field. The ultimate result of a recruiting class is the benefit society reaps from it's final product. And that class is in good hands.

I wouldn't speak with such conviction. If the Admiral becomes President, he knows what it takes to become a champion and he will not accept mediocrity. Butch Davis is unmatched as a roster builder and player developer and will come at a price the school will be willing to pay. With Donna out, a lot can be possible.

Glad to see there are spiritual men who accept new metrics of success and reject the antiquated notion of scoreboard watching. Society has evolved away from the caveman notions espoused by Vince Lombardo. It's time to rejoice in the new metrics of success.

Unfortunately, we live in a society where people need instant results. These same guys would have been looking to lynch Saban after he went 7-6 his first year at Bama.

He would of been murdered on the Internet's by canes fans for that record. However, al golden is cut from the same cloth as Nick Saban. Both are builders and their teams this year will be better than their first year teams.

Exactly! Both are builders! Saban won NCs in year 4 at LSU and year 3 at Bama while Golden has the same record in year 4 than in year 1. They are both building greats things!

Saban did not have a cloud or the type of negative recruitment that Golden has had to deal with. If Golden didn't get blindsided by the investigation, canes would of won the national title in 2013.

Saban improved after the first year, and he coaches in the SEC not the ACC coastal. And Urban Meyer was dealing with NCAA sanctions and an investigation except he has finished top 5 at OSU plus a national title to go with. So there's no excuse for Golden, he continues to be stuck in his ways with his defensive scheme and refuses to adapt.
