Surgery for Mali

Wish people would understand that the report got out there and the college football playoff selection committee can still ding people for ranking or even into the playoff itself for unavailable players a.k.a. the FSU rule.

OOnce the injury got out there and that was going to happen it was smart to make it really clear when people were saying he could be gone for the season that he was not even if he winds up being that way.

So I get your point but my point is pretty **** valid too
It’s valid, I get it.

This is false. 7 has dropped a pass only in last two games. He’s made some great catches. He’s very talented and always makes big plays
The back shoulder throw to 7 in the end zone against UNC was not an easy catch. Does he need to make that catch to beat ND? Likely. But not an easy catch.

The drop on 4th down against Pitt was a very easy catch.

Dam to think being tuff n fizical in a drive where because we dont rotate our guys, your career in jeopardy? FML.. Let me go pack my bags man, this day is depressing..
Supposedly had nothing to do with the Wake game.

Hurt shoulder in the game and then found more when getting check out for that. Had been lingering and didn’t know what was going on.

this is what I heard too and what D Money said. basically, he wasnt out bc of the wake forest game, it just led to them seeing what was going on under the hood so to speak

We’re playing a team missing 2 DTs. Their MLB. And a safety.

Then we have 3 ACC schools.

It’s not rocket science.

Pound the rock.

And a cornerback.

But somehow Leonard Moore is going to play like the greatest cornerback in history, while missing 5 of his fellow starters on defense.

This thread is absolute PROOF POSITIVE that we have some of the softest, ****iest crybaby fans on the planet.

And, hey, it's not everybody, but we've got a very loud, very ****y 10% of our fanbase who will run around crying like ******* every time we have to face a bit of adversity. One minute they'll lie to you by saying "Yeah, I trust Mario now that he took us to the finals and signed all those blue chips", but the minute our team STRUGGLES to win a game (but still wins anyhow), they will go OFF, telling you how this player or this unit is the worst they've ever seen at Miami.

Look, I think the world of Malachi. I would never say that anyone can "replace" him. He is (and/or will soon be, statistically) the greatest WR who has ever played at Miami. But if you think that Miami can't eke out a few wins against multi-loss Duke, VaTech, and BC teams without the greatest ever WR at UM, then maybe you need your head and your expectations examined.

I know that this will come as a shock to some porsters, but Miami has managed to win 5 national championships before Malachi Toney was ever Immaculately Conceived in his mother's virgin womb. And it is highly likely that Miami will win more national championships after Malachi Toney ascends into heaven or the NFL, whichever comes first. So what that entails is the REST OF THE TEAM performing up to their highest standards to do everything they can to replace the statistical production of Malachi Toney, even if they cannot reproduce his actual physical and spiritual presence.

If need be, we should start calling out and NAMING the most pusillanimous porsters who are claiming that our season is over, all hope is lost, and that we are nothing without our best player. It has become tiresome and infuriating. It was bad enough when the accurately named Mope Squad was spreading its verbal diarrhea when the Hurricanes were less successful, so now they find isolated incidents in which they can re-exert their ****iest tendencies.

**** it. We've got games to win and rings to earn. May God, in all his infinite wisdom, heal Malachi Toney's ankle in much the same way that Jesus Christ healed the blind and cured the lepers.

Peace be with you all, except for the mopey ******* who try to ruin this board EVERY SINGLE TIME.
I agree re being soft. Have these softies moved onto the weather yet ?

I just know that YOU DON'T KNOW ****.

And that is confirmed.

You may be right. I might not know ****. But what I do know is that you won’t talk that same **** to me in person.

I know that you like to talk all tough in here but anyone that has ever met you knows you’re as soft as a grape.

Your CIS telephone tough guy schtick isn’t a good look dude. You should try and tone that **** down. One day you may write a check that you won’t be able to cash and I’m sure that’s something nobody would want to see happen.

It’s a college football message board dude.

The whole off-season I kept thinking he's going to get injured at some point this year. My thinking was that he was not going to match his freshman production. Even earlier in the season, I kept waiting for it to happen. And he gets injured now that I stopped having those thoughts 😭
