Mario on the other hand needs to find a job elsewhere and find that job ASAP.
 
Kiffin will flop at USF but somehow get a 5th head coaching job that's actually more prestigious than USF.

Taggert? Willie Taggert? He has one player saving him: Quinton Flowers. They don't play defense, so he hasn't done anything on that side of the ball. He has sat back and let Flowers get him a promotion.

You know how silly you sound? Man brings a program from the ashes to a 10-2 record. Develops his offensive scheme into a dynamo with an outstanding running attack and passing despite a QB more suited for the run. The man has "earned" any opportunity that comes his way. Agree the defense is their weakness, but it's even more remarkable he was 10-2 with that weak run defense.

How silly I sound? He has won nothing. Al Golden proved that reviving dead programs doesn't make you a Power 5 coach. He has a top-notch quarterback, period.

I don't understand how many more HC opps kiffin can possibly get, dude has shown he's an awesome OC, and that's about it.

Yes, that's what I meant. He's going to be in the national championship picture every year as long as he is working under Saban at Bama. At USF the best he can hope for is an AAC title. I think Kiffin will hold out for a P5 job unless Saban decides to get rid of him.

Towson
a 5-7 Northern Illinois team
a 4-8 Syracuse team
a 4-8 Cincinnati team
a 3-9 ECU team
a 3-9 UCONN team
Navy at home (impressive)
at Memphis (somewhat impressive)
5-7 SMU
6-6 UCF

They lost to Temple and FSU convincingly and three of their wins were against teams with winning records
 
Charlie Strong to USF is bad news. Another Ace recruiter to join the competition in Florida. Hope this deal falls through. Rather not fight against Butch and also Strong in addition to the big 3. Fingers crossed!!

Would be a great hire for them. 3 star and occasional 4 star miami kids would excel there with him at the helm.
