Come on man. If you don't like or want Kiffin, just say that you don't like him. He is very arrogant and unpredictable. I don't know if he's the right guy for the job either, but there are a lot of myths about him that some people perceive as true. Some people use these myths about him to support their opinion of himI’m sorry let me clarify that..7-6 is a ******* losing record man at a place like usc/Miami/tenn...8-5 at Miami is unacceptable..starting 3-2 is Losing bruh..those are losing records. And he was doing that at USC right after Pete..then at tenn when they were closer to being a good sec East team compared to now…this man was at 2 top 20 jobs and got unceremoniously fired twice..not to mention that **** show at OAK..the only reason his name was hot and still is comes off him being (perceived) as a good play caller and who his daddy was..and ppl want him to rebuild Miami?? ****K NO..we want a HC who failed at 2 high profile spots now?
LANE KIFFIN MYTHS
1. Fired at Tennessee - FALSE
2. Losing records at schools - FALSE, except for 1 season at FAU. I agree that 7-6 is not acceptable at schools like Tennessee and USC, but its not a losing record
3. Poor Recruiter - FALSE. Others have made this claim. He recruited lights out at USC and is doing good job at Ole Miss so far.
4. Poor Play Caller - FALSE. He has had success ever where he's been as offense coordinator/play caller. Is he the GOAT? Of course not, but he's pretty good.
5. Fired at USC - TRUE
6. Failed at Tennessee - FALSE. Took over team in turmoil. Played better than previous season and had them playing tough, but he didn't fail. Left them high and dry.
6. Failed at USC - TRUE. Too much talent to not have better record there and lost some head scratchers for sure. Still had overall winning record
