I live in Texas and Texas has every single resource pumped into the program… I know a lot of alums and tshirt fans and they are annoyed they can’t seem to finally win one since Vince.

If they fail to make the playoffs this year I wouldn’t be shocked if things get dicey for him… just don’t know who would be the dude to replace him… unless they give some mineral rights from west Texas to Saban lol

Saban is 74 though. I can’t imagine him being the one.

The Yankees haven't won a world series in 20 years. The LeBron led Heat were a miracle Ray Allen shot from winning only 1 NBA title. I feel like these Texas teams think if they just throw money and resources at a program it will automatically win them a championship. There's so much more to it than that. Indiana just built a juggernaut out of dimes and nickles.

I'm not excited that Mario is signing big time recruits because they're big time recruits. I'm excited because I know he'll mold a more talented player in his image and the culture can cultivate talent and results. Swap in Sark onto Miami right now and I think we're worse off.

You can spend all the money you want in the world. Money isn't going to buy the attitude that Miami team played with during that playoff run.

Agreed. Attitude and character of the team matters… even lane strikes me as another sark. His ole miss team he left felt like they were more out to stuff it in his face than anything he coulda done.
 
Not to defend Sark.. but he’s not wrong. No way Texas Tech should make the playoffs with that schedule.
