We proved last year we can play with and pretty much beat anyone in the country. Idgaf if our schedule is perceived as soft. Get to Charlotte, win the conference, and punch 3 teams in the mouth to capture # 6. We have already shown we can do the latter.

Oddly enough, playing this game doesn’t really benefit either team. TT has a path to the playoff if they don’t win the Big12 with only 1 loss but not with 2. Why risk an OCC L.

No one will care if Texas wins, but if they lose they become the laughing stock. It’s like playing an in state G5 school, except TT is more than capable.

Whatever humiliates Sark and the SEC I’m all for it so let TT keep calling them out.

Texas tech does have a weak schedule… the out of conference is pathetic. Texas and Oklahoma would’ve had a much easier path to the playoffs yearly if they stayed in the BIG 12. They probably should’ve thought about that a little deeper before making the jump.
