NFL Stephen Ross is the Worst

100+ colleges have their own stadiums, but Miami can’t because we’re ******* special.

You people believe every lie this garbage admin sells you, and you have for 20 years.

Here’s a clue…Miami has no stadium because they’re ******* cheap and not invested in football. No other reason but that.

What the ****. I've got time.

Where are you going to put it?

Once he tells us this, let’s hear how he can convince Coral Gables to allow it.

They had a plan to renovate the Orange Bowl with help from the city of Miami but the city commissioners said no because they wanted the land for the Marlins.

He may bring up Tropical Park but that is city land. Look how hard it is for Miami FC to get approval from the city to build on city land that is unused.

Oh, then we'll talk about traffic and parking.

I’m not a construction worker, it’s not my problem.

I guess there’s no room in the entire Miami metro area to build anything. That makes sense since Miami is clearly the most populous metropolitan area in the entire world, bar none. There’s no room for anything

So all of the times that people have explained why it's not possible haven't registered with you yet, huh?

I think I pretty much summed up the argument. There’s no room in the entire miami metro area to build a stadium, because Miami is more packed than NYC.

That's what I don't get about the on campus heros. Where are they putting it. Below are the same scale for the campus and Hard Rock. Even if they could somehow fit a stadium in there, it would be a complete mess to get in and out of there. That doesn't even take into account parking for 50k fans.

Listen, I’ve been to the OB several times & on campus several times.

I’m pretty sure a campus stadium is unrealistic. ****, it’s not too many campuses in America that have an on campus stadium.

But being that I live in a small suburb outside of LA, right around the corner The newest & most expensive stadium in the world, I can tell u planning goes a long way. Ppl said the same chit; “how can they fit a football stadium in that part of Inglewood, CA? It’ll be a traffic nightmare & there’s no land!” Well, they did & they are building the new Clippers arena in an area where NO ONE would’ve thought could fit. They expanded a casino that allegedly had no room to expand.

The point is, when there’s planning involved, anything can happen. Traffic, logistics, all that was solved & is continually being worked out. The strip of Prairie Ave, is now going to be home of a casino, NFL stadium, The Clippers Arena, a 2nd LA Live w/ the L.A Forum, hella restaurants, and one of the busiest cemetery in all of the west coast.

If u lived here u, along w/ everyone else, would’ve said impossible, there’s no land. And on the surface, u would’ve been correct. But ppl who think outside of the box, usually makes things happen.

And even that run wasn't great after 1986.

Marino got 2 games vs really bad Jets and Colts teams for years + the Pats sucked most of his time in Miami. He spent 10 seasons 9-7 or worse. 3 of his 4 best seasons were before 1986. I dunno how old you are but most of my Marino memories are WC losses.
Marino record vs Jets was only 17-14..and the other games he was hurt or whatever, the Jets would win...was literally a .500 record...
You are right that Marino best seasons were the first 4
