We all know he was the #1 player in the country coming out, but even when he played at UCLA, he didn't light it up like other true frosh, heavily rated DE's, so I'm curious about him.

Jaelan had to seek medical permission to play and was undergoing treatment and PT rehab, etc.

Last year, when I asked about the then rehabbing Rousseau and whether or not he was a Greentree AA, but we won't see it on the field, I got a resounding, NO! He is the real deal!!!

So, I'm curious about Jaelan, his physical condition and any signs as to whether or not he's looking to make an impact.

Thgouths? Observations?

He was very good as a true freshman. Check out his game against Texas A&M.

Had concussion issues but the real problem was his wrist. He came back too early and it never healed. He has had time to heal it and has put on the weight he lost. We will see where he is at in spring.

D$, you were the one who confirmed how good Rousseau was going to be this year. I sure hope you see something similar in Phillips this offseason.

He’s put on good weight and is working out, in between 255-260 which is already much bigger than what he arrived at Miami at. Diaz mentioned him a few weeks back when asked what they are going to do with garvin gone next season
