With it slowing down, now I'm starting to worry about my flight

the storm went from 10 mph to 12 between the 8am and 11am readings..how did it slow down?

Look at the projected path. It was supposed to be in VA by Saturday. Now it's supposed to be off South GA on Saturday and Central Florida Friday morning. It's slowed down. It might be picking up speed right this second, but it has slowed down.

Tomorrow's #BeatFSU Pep Rally has been cancelled. The shirts will be distributed to the first 1,000 students through the gates on Saturday.

Idk where your getting your info but it definitely has sped up and weakened to cat 3 also has started heading more NW than NNW like it was earlier

I'm looking at maps and comparing them to earlier maps. Yesterday and Monday it was supposed to be further North on Friday and Saturday. That's a fact.

It was originally supposed to make its closest approach to FL on Thursday...now, it's looking like a landfall early Friday morning.

I switched my flight to arrive in Tampa tomorrow morning instead of Miami. We are going to drive down to south beach on Friday after everything has blown by. Most of the airlines are letting folks switch for free because of the storm. American Airlines did not charge us anything for switching.

GO CANES!

Shifted further east. Looks bad up the coast towards Vero and Brevard.

This btch is doing everything in its power to have an impact on us lol... Moving west, slowing down so it won't arrive in SoFla till Friday... I still think we get the game in. The latest models only had one projection touching land in Florida, I believe, but this is frustrating as heck.

Friday morning it will be in central florida

Uhhhh the storm is bigger than that little black dot homie. It's actually longwr than the entire state of Florida. So if the eye is in central Florida, Miami and Broward will still be getting hit with rain and wind.

someone posted about UCF earlier

apparently they're moving their game from friday TO Saturday

if Tulane and UCF can play in Orlando on Saturday there's no reason we can't play FSU in Miami on Saturday.
Ucf game here against Tulane got postponed until November

Keep in mind though it's gonna hit central Florida nearly 3/4 day after Miami and ucf game is Friday. So Miami is in clear for Saturday

Curious to see if the game will be played under a tropical storm warning (if the storm hits on Friday in central FL and lingers for an extra day).

Also does the stadium have backup generators in case of widespread power outages?

I live in orlando and drive to Daytona for work.. I work Friday morning at 9am

Pretty sure this hurricane is on track to change that

I'll be driving through the hurricane bands only to get to the hurricane ha

The storm will be in SC at kickoff. Why would we still have a TS warning?

UCF-Tulane game was on Friday though, not Saturday. UCF offered to play Saturday, and Tulane said no, because Tulane plays next Friday too, and didn't want a short week.

Flight gets into West Palm on Friday, 11 p.m. Anyone here think I should change that?
