Are all those open rafters on the canopy going to be covered, or only the part that's already covered? Are they done with the canopy?

Pretty sure the canopy is finished completely. It wasn't supposed to completely cover the stands, but it does do a good job.

The stadium is gonna be really sweet. And for those asking about growing grass in the shade, I saw on the twitter feed dude was saying they studied European soccer stadiums and there will be grow lights for the grass affected by the shade. Some of you guys better not getting any ideas of dropping seeds on the field either.. it'll get noticed I bet.

Almost looks like the rest of the roof will have some kind of fabric-based cover, instead of metal.

Doesn't look like they're done with the canopy;

I wonder if we might eventually be able to add one of those clear retractable roofs (a la Wimbledon) to eliminate those dreaded lightning delays. Although, I imagine it would be like a steamer in there if it were completely closed up.

I read somewhere that the Seminoles (the actual tribe, not the nitwits in Tally) are putting up the most money for naming rights. Looks like we might play in Hard Rock Stadium next season.

They better go with just "Hard Rock" and not "Seminole Hard Rock"

If it's the latter, fly the f*cking banner calling for Stephen Ross's head on a pike

It will most likely just be "Hard Rock" as the Seminole tribe owns the corporation, not just the casino.

My God, could you imagine?

This may be a silly question, but is there any concern about the impact the panels will have on the grass growing inside the stadium due to lack of constant sunlight? Or will there be enough throughout the day that it isn't an issue?

Glad you brought this up. Let me try to get you Stephen Ross's or Tom Garfinkel's email so you can alert them before it's too late.

Not a silly question at all. Which is why they will be using the astro turf from the 90's
