Some notes from Lake:

First Team: QB Tyler Van Dyke, RB Henry Parrish, WR Colbie Young, WR Jacolby George, WR Xavier Restrepo, TE Cam McCormick, LT Jalen Rivers, LG Javion Cohen, C Matt Lee, RG Anez Cooper, and RT Francis Mauigoa

- Second Team: QB Jacurri Brown, RB Don Chaney Jr., WR Isaiah Horton, WR Robby Washington, WR Brashard Smith, TE Jaleel Skinner, LT Samson Okunlola, LG Laurance Seymore, C Ryan Rodriguez, RG Logan Sagapolu RT Michael McLaughlin

He mentioned the QBS all looked sharp today

Mauigoa and Keontra Smith were at 1st team LB. Flagg and Bissainthe were 2nd team

Mesidor was fully back today, too

That's a two deep that could do some damage in the ACC. Second-team OL still has a lot of questions. Still hope we're crazy active in the portal post-Spring.

good for Rodriguez. someone had told me his injury was pretty serious.

Covid was the best thing to ever happen to Manny's recruiting.
It was but that was a good eval. I mean the odds are it was just luck with Manny but I recall a certain MNW alumnus on here calling it.

That 2nd team OL is terrifying. Any doubters of adding more OL in portal should be duck taped to a chair and kicked in the nuts.

The one who claimed Jameis Winston was great and tried dunking based on one game. If they guy was great, he wouldn't have been replaced at Tampa Bay by a guy old enough to be his father.

You said that like Tom Brady is some schmo or something?? Like he came in and made no immediate difference. Gotta love CIS boy I tell ya.

Man, if Keontra can get that dawg back in him, he could do something. I felt he had so much potential coming out of HS. Thought Strong would be able to make something of him. But he was a non-factor last season.
It’s early I know… and it’s no knock against Keontra but I was really looking forward to these young guys completely separating themselves from guys who haven’t proven much. If guys who’ve been lingering around are still in the mix it makes me believe we still don’t have head n shoulders number 1’s at LB which we need desperately.

That’s not the point really. If he were any good the team he’s on would be thinking about how to keep him long term rather than dump him for a short term QB rental, albeit a great one.

Agreed... I think your gonna see maybe 1 more portal??

But I see Mario and co. attacking recruiting hard once again for lineman

You'll never hear me diminish Tom Brady, but if Winston was any good, they wouldn't have gotten rid of him to take the chance that Brady still had anything left.

The fact that he did come in and made a difference says as much about Winston as it does Brady.

I'm not concerned about this with Gattis gone. So long as TVD can build confidence with a few WRs, we should see big numbers.

We haven't been begging for more portal additions because we are loaded.

One of the rarest times I disagree with you, respectfully. If you are obsessed about winning then you’re not thinking about vacation in spring. No one would outwork me and if I’m working you better believe my peers are, too.
I think you can do both. Local kids can workout at the U and bring some OOT players home with them and enjoy life in South Florida.
