Exactly. Think of it this way. There are many top athletes in the world that have coaches and/or mentors. That does not mean the coach/mentor needs to be better than that athlete to help them get better. You seriously think Butch Harmon or Hank Haney could have beaten Tiger in his prime?

He’s a Gator through and through. I sat next to him first year in law school (he was “Ru” and I was “Sa”). He is a massive college football fan tho.

Just listened to this quote from cristobal prior to seeing this post. I got chills as he described what Miami is as a whole. He absolutely nailed every single point to a T. There’s nothing that compares to it in the world. Its not for everyone but those that choose The U moving forward are doing something special. It has always checked every single box minus the giant elephant in the room, investment from the top and coaching/development. By all accounts those are fixed.

on the contrary, a lot of the best coaches are guys who couldn't put it together on the field. when you're limited physically you have to know the game inside and out

Let me speak on Ron Veal. My son and a lot of aspiring QB's in Atlanta have worked with Ron. He is excellent in terms of technique and really knows how to talk to kids. I am very happy to read that Jacurri will be working with Ron.
