does cook play for SFE?
The Head Coach is a Gator....not sure what else to tell you. I know they take the kids on trips to visit some campuses etc while doing the 7 on 7 circuit.
this is overplayed. aside from this year, uf has not benefitted much from recruits on that team. as the op mentioned guys have gone to west virginia, clemson, uga, lousiville, ohio st., etc. miami has gotten more players from express than uf has over the past few years.

I'm not even going to say anything about the picture above other than state that this is a picture of Brett Goetz.
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/otl/news/story?id=6600377
For example, former South Florida Express assistant Jon Drummond told "Outside the Lines" and others that he was the go-between for Express players and college coaches. That was before head coach Brett Goetz said Drummond would not be returning next season, because he violated a "Code of Conduct" Goetz makes all coaches sign. Goetz's "Code of Conduct" essentially states that his coaches cannot use their relationships with prospects for a profit.
Drummond told ESPN that "everyone knows coaches are being paid something extra to bring recruits to campus" while denying he's one of them.
Many 7-on-7 coaches, including Drummond, drive carloads of players to campuses for unofficial visits. Some coaches are paid to work camps those schools host. Some claim to receive "gas money" from college coaches.
"And maybe something for McDonald's," Drummond said.
Swag sez: Anyone sticking their head in the sand on this is a doofus. Middle aged men do not devote their lives to bussing kids around the country to SEC campuses because they are kind fellows.

what's suprising to me (even though i knew it was already happening) is the apparel company's sponsoring these teams. right off the bat they're laying the groundwork for them being corrupted. 7-on-7's should be done per high school, wherever you go that's who you play with.
at some point the UM people will need to put an end to a uf guy running this team. UM is the hometown school and should running stuff like this. a UM guy would never be running a team in Gainesville or tally. the behind the scenes people and coaches in south florida who support UM will need to put an end to this.

This is essentially the crux of the issue. UM, for all of its on-field successes has not, to my knowledge done a good job of filling the local high school coaching ranks with UM-friendly assets. I think they are now beginning to understand this but they are behind the times in addressing these types of local issues.

Dont know if anybody caught it last night but after Quincy and Ermon committed they had Lammons on and he was talking (paraphrasing) about how SFE how they stick together and they going to be balling, blah, blah, blah... Then Bluestein cut him off and was like dont forget about the Plantation colonels (lammon's school). Lammons was like oh, yea them too. Found that very telling and funny at same time
Here is link, Click on high school gridiron (8-12-13) Its #3 at the moment. You can start at interview with Lammons at 11:45 mark, Host bluestein ask him the question at 12:07 mark which I mentioned:

It's the kinds of things that happen when you have a staff that alienates certain programs and other schools see an opportunity to make a move. Golden clearly agrees with you guys and we have seen some recent examples of high school becoming more UM friendly, as it should be.
An often overlooked, but incredibly important detail especially when we are currently playing from behind because every step we make is being watched.

I was thinking about more than just the current staff. Im talking UM as a whole. To me, it ties into the comments from UM alumni about non-UM alums being UM sports fans. What has the University itself done on this front? I wonder how many UM grads are teaching at south Florida high schools-or Tampa area high schools - or Orlando/Daytona area skools? My guess is that UF puts more teachers into the community than UM. This creates more school district administrators from uf, and on & on...
The idea that a non-Canes friendly guy could get hired at a Homestead high or a Miami Central is beyond the belief system to those whose support SEC universities. UM is simply behind the times on this "front" of the college recruiting wars.
The issues with SFE this cycle probably have more to do with Quincy Wilson than they do with Goetz. The bigger mystery is what the **** is going on with U school. I'm starting to wonder if there isn't some shadiness there the staff wants no part of. Only thing I can come up with.
donnell got fired b/c his fsu bosses thought coley was set for fsu.
does cook play for SFE?
this is interesting considering the choice of school for players on sfe over the years has been so varied. they have literally sent players everywhere except the pac-12 it seems. clemson, fsu, miami, uga, louisville, lsu, bama, uf, etc. doesn't seem to fit with the stick together theme, unless he's talking about as friends off the field which would make sense.
does cook play for SFE?
I'm not sure...
But Devante Phillips does, i.e. the most recent, high profile WR from S. Florida.
Also a bunch of other 2015/16 stars Like: Bruce, Cole, McFadden and maybe Irvin...
Dude's it smells totally fishy...
