South Florida '18- The CBs

i see a lot of ahmmon richards in campbell. lanky and fluid, effortlessly fast but very powerful and relishes contact. if we sign him he'll be the best talent we've had here in a long time, give or take ahmmon himself.

2015 was also considered very deep at the time, if not historical. I enjoy comparing the two

Fyi, not posting this to argue but just for the sake of comparison.

I really like the potential Stanley Garner has. Of all the guys that we aren’t recruiting he has the most upside in my eyes. Long lanky CB with all the physical traits to be successful. I expect him to be one of the guys that we look back and say how did he end up at UK.

Because he has family roots in Kentucky (mama side) His mother is friends with my ex-wife who is also from Kentucky. No lie.

Surtain still not a finished product at CB?

He's had the best coaching imaginable.

How do you know he’s had the best coaching imaginable? Just because his dad was a great player doesn’t mean he’s provided the best coaching imaginable.

Surtain, Rumph, several more NFL players on that AH coaching staff.....

What other HS CB gets coaching like that?

Sam Madison is coaching DBs at STA, and Al Harris used to coach the DBs at STA. I'd say Sam and Al know a thing or two about playing DB.

That is not a shot at the AH staff as they have has Coach Rumph, Pat, Sr., Daryl Porter and Choad Wilson coaching them for the last several years.

Was he only considering UK?

What other schools were in the running after them? I just find it odd how we never really kicked the tires on him yet we did on Keidron.

Did the coaches get to see these guys at Paradise Camp?

I know they saw Bethel at one of their other camps and liked him. I believe Garner and Smith also attended camp. Don't remember seeing them at Paradise, but there were a lot of kids there.

He grew up a basketball player ...so Big Blue Nation has always been his obsession since a kid. You can see some of that body control and fast twitchy “bounciness” he developed on the court. When he started getting seriously looked at for Football he was initially humbled and amazed at the legit elite D1 school wanting him but his heart has always been Kentucky period.

Rumph needs to close the deal here down the stretch with Campbell. I love the Artie Burns comparison D-Money. Elite closing speed.

4/5 of the CBs could've played here easily.
