Sources: Yearby to declare for draft

Everyone keeps talking about our players and NE system. Truth is most of our players going to league would thrive there. They know how to get the most out of their players.

With that said. Duke Johnson..when he's done with the Browns which I suspect could happen after this season would be awesome in NE.

Why not? He isn't going to get any better. He is as big and fast as he will ever be.

I wish he would work on his degree, because that "cup of tea" in the pros won't serve the family. What does the CFL pay?

He is free to get degree when he's done. At no cost.

Is that right? Then all these guys should be leaving early rather than get torn up in college.

That is correct. If you leave the University on good standing you're more than welcome to go back and finish

Running backs shouldn't stay 4 years. Can't blame him at all especially with the crowded backfield next year.

might as well. he won't unseat Walton next year and that kid from Maryland might be headed here.

No he and the rest of the RB's see how much better Homer is than any of them so why come back. I wouldn't doubt Homer takes the starting spot from Walton by mid season. His ceiling is so much higher than a RB we have.

Is Homer really that much better?
Walton is very explosive, same with Yearby.
How does anyone know how much better Homer is?
I hope he is the best ever, but I won't know until he gets some games under his belt

Who is that running back coming in from Gullever prep? Plus we still got Choc coming back right

He will make a roster. You can't teach that quickness and instincts. Colts, Patriots, Eagles, would love a back like Yearby.

Kid better learn how to play special teams - if you cant take away carries from Gus you arent playing on Sunday

The minute Gus Edwards starting getting carries I had suspected it was leaked to Richt Yeabry was gonna go pro. I think Yearby is the most NFL ready running back on the roster. I think he gets drafted late and plays in the league for 3 or 4 years.

Capt Jack - based on what ?
- I just dont see it - Walton has some big plays but I dont think he is special and Joe is behind Walton

Some team is going to luck out with drafting yearby late. I bet this kid finds his way into a decent NFL career.

The thing is, within the next two years I will be posting another vid with Yearby blowing up the NFL just as I did with Hurns. It will have another quote from Belichick saying to another coach, "That guys a football player. Where the fug did that guy come from?"

And yawl killing me with this no degree BS. How many of yawl have degrees? Better question, how many of you all have degrees and are working in the field in which you majored? You know first hand that most jobs requiring a college degree are not paying anywhere close to what Yearby will be making as a minimum during the same first two or three years fresh out of college. Just admit the coaching staff made a bad choice between Gus and Yearby. And you would rather have him back because you are not sold on any of the other RB's. I would buy that before I would you not understanding the difference in pay. Besides he's finishing his Jr year so at the very least he shouldn't have that many credits left from completing his degree anyway so he can always go back.

REAL TALK!

Doesn't typically make sense for RBs to stay 4 years. He's not getting any better in college. Drafted or not, he should do some PSAs about wrapping up your junk. How you going to knock your girl up as an unemployed teenager, and then go and do it again?

He ran for 1k last year and played over Gus up until that fumble two weeks ago. What are you talking about?

FYI , UMiami started giving out lifetime scholarships 2 year ago,
