I have no problem with a kid leaving if everything is on the up and up and everyone is on the same playing field. It's when some cheat, get paid, ect and never pay the price like we did, that ****es me off. SEC has been cheating for years but that's alright, I don't think so. NCAA is corrupt as ****.

Inexcusable for ****-soft fans to see their crush like someone else.

Keep calm and man up.

And don't whine and moan if he doesn't come

An excellent point. People act like we have been on a level playing field with the SEC in recruiting. Who are they kidding? WE have been under the NCAA gun for years now. Golden cant do anything except play it as tight and by the book as possible, while the SEC does whatever the **** it wants.

Golden is not in a fair fight on the recruiting trail. Apart from the fact that we have been mediocre for years now, we are out there recruiting with one hand tied behind our backs right now, and against the SEC.

Does NO ONE find it ironic that all the kids we are losing are going to SEC schools? Its not like Sony, and Dalvin, or Collins were going to Ohio State or Michigan or UNC.

There is only so much Golden can do here.

Do you think fsu is making it rain and handing out favors as well?

Yes, absolutely yes.

in about four hours

there will be either

A: Golden is king threads popping up with "we bak" sprinkled in
B: Golden should be fired for not fencing off South FL threads

Bipolar, thy name is the U fans.
Truth

LOL at this entire thread with our current stable of RBs (including our 2014 commits).

Oh yeah, and they'll be running behind an OLine we haven't seen since the early 2000's.

Poster above is correct. Wake me when we lose Clark and Valentine at the same time.

Duke johnson and... Oh yeah

Yeah hopefully Gus and Elder are the real deal. Not sure I ever remember a kid picking us over FSU on signing day and getting less attention than Gus Edwards. FSU legitimately wanted and thought they had him, but we got him anyway. Kid looks like a horse, and not a FB like some have alluded to.

We have Duke as primary RB) for 2 more years. We will have Yearby for 3. Plus we have Crawford, Dillard, Edwards, Elder, Hagans, and I'm prolly missing a couple.
We get Yearby's LOI, and we're good at RB.
Not saying I wouldn't love to have Sony too bc holy sht at that backfield.
But we're landing the top OL class and have the #4 RB in country already committed (I think Duke was #5? - - - to put Yearby's commitment in some perspective)
If we don't get 2 or 3 top DTs, then that is something to be very worried about.

WTF are you talking about? Our stable? Also Valentine is a troll with bad bad grades, him going to Miami is a longshot. Clark would be a major loss, but Valentine is in no way a Cane lean of any sorts.

You know what's better than a home away from home??? Staying at home!!!!!!

I take home away from home........ meaning Coral Gables, why does it have to be Georgia??? Kid will be a CANE he has to be.

Duke is better than Yearby, that is all. Nothing to take away from Yearby because he is a stud and any team would be lucky to have him. Our problem is that we whiffed on Collins last year, if we had Collins in the fold then this whole Cook and Sony fiasco aint ****. The fact is that we did not and we need two studs this year. There is still time and there are very good RBs in other parts of the country, but people freak out because we have 3 elite talents in our own backyard and we look like we will only get 1 when we need 2. Also regarding this stable you are talking, I would put money down that if FSU's stable looked the way ours did after Duke you would be clowning them. Crawford and Dillard have proven thus far to be nothing but fillers, Hagans is an FB that is it. Elder is a scat back at best, probably better suited for the slot(should be a stud there though) and Edwards seems like an a very good FB that we will try and turn into a RB, hopefully for our sakes it works.

1. FSU is a major IN state rival who we have always recruited against head to head, and they always recruit SOuth Florida.
2. FSU has been better than we have the last few years.
3. Jimbo spent enough time in the SEC and knows how the game works.
4. FSU is a huge state school with a huge booster/Alumni network. Would anyone be surpised if they were "making it rain"?

And yet its not EVEN FSU who is in here suddenly making waves. Suddenly a ton of high profile South Florida kids are "feeling right at home" at SEC schools out of the blue the last few years.

Gus da bus????

I actually hope we can redshirt Gus and Corn and use Mo Hagens as our change of pace, short yardage back.
He looked pretty good steamrolling people in the spring game.
Sure he won't be breaking any long runs but he will be hurting some linebackers for 3-5 yards.

Agreed.
