Is fong still washed ?
It’s already been said that it’s a pretty standard Miami WR class. Which isn’t a bad thingNah, WR class isn't 'elite enough' yet

Quartermen
The chubby LB who was good for us
Jalen Rivers
Jacksonville area has comparable talent to Palm Beach/Martin County
He’s faster. His game seems similar to Evans
I agree which is why I did not include Duval County. St Johns County where Wingo plays is much smaller.
Don’t they play a lot of the same schools tho? I travel to St Augustine every March and usually end up making a run up into Jax at least once while there. It ain’t that far.

Yep - He looks pretty slow. Not really a fan of the tape. Doesnt seem that fluid and not enough high school seperation imo.
The receivers with meh speed who have corners on their hip the majority of their film have never panned out.
Hightower, Redding, Evidence Njoku, Langham, D'Mauri Jones, Jontavious Carter... Chance has been hurt but I think he fit the same mold.
If receivers aren't blowing high school corners up good luck at the next level, I dont care what your measurables are.
I just want to try to sprinkle a little optimism here. On film, it looks like his split release against press is slowing him down. As a taller receiver (6’3”?), that’ll need work (Could be coaching. Saw him backpedal a bubble on his film. Sent a chill down my spine). When he’s running free, he gets plenty of separation, sometimes has to wait on the football. Pretty dynamic in space fore his size. Don’t know what his work ethic is but seems like a receiver that in this offense could outperform his ranking/expectations.Not really a fan of the tape. Goes to UF or USC - "we can never land tall receivers!!!"
Goes to Miami - "yea but he's slow"
I love this place so much
This is where I’m at. Good strength, very good basketball player, can run routes, hands catcher. Question would be explosiveness, although I think he has enough to be solid there. He reminds me of Upshaw last year.I don’t think he is a WR1 type, not enough juice for that. Looks like an athletic above the rim type (body control, ability after catch) possession guy to me. IMO, there is some upside here and we need outside body types so bring him on.
I also liked Upshaw more. But he’s in that category to me.Maybe I’m just way too high on Upshaw but he looked way more twitched up when I watched him in high school, just not seeing that one.
Fair enough. And I also just had more exposure to Upshaw’s high school games, not just the highlights, but Nix used him all over the place (sweeps, bubbles, even threw him in as wildcat qb a good bit) which I could see translating to the college level, where at first glance Wingo looks like more of a possession/contested catch guy to me. I always felt Upshaw’s athleticism got downplayed.I also liked Upshaw more. But he’s in that category to me.
