Some thoughts from the scrimmage

If Eddie stays out of trouble we may finally have a "Miami" two deep.

Eddie/Figueroa
Kirby/Gaines
Perryman/Bond

I just feel Eddie is done and don't look for him to be back here. That said, Figueroa moves up with the ones and who backs him?

McCord

:drevil:

Could be, but I think Armbrister and Cornileus will have a say in the decision.

Meh

Let them fight for the nickel/3rd down package

Kirby donned the Black Jersey out of UTough....so obviously the coaches thought he did SOMETHING right....

Kirby has been way too overhyped on this board.

Perryman/Gaines/Figueroa vs FAU.

agreed, but gaines is very average against he run great against the pass

He brings the wood. He at least made some plays last year. If Gaines was average against the pass.. that is better than any other LB last year.

Kirby was hurt at the beginning of the year, played some the second half... has been a ghost so far, boat last year and this year.

He'll be backing up Gaines this year.

I have to disagree. Kirby was very active when he played, and that was coming off an injury. I remember focusing on him in a few games. He's gonna be a good one

Danny, you mentioned Dye in the paragraph about the TE's......is he back again to TE?.......I ahjd thought he was swiotched to DE (which IIRC was what he came in as )

He's back at DE and made a couple plays there early. Really hope his injury isn't as bad as it sounds.

It was great seeing a lot of CIS folks out there. Jedi Master, jevoasis, 1991, hurricaneman, Htown, McGahee2theHouse. The turnout was better than it looks in the screenshots, as most people were sitting on the other side (same side as the camera).

Same here brother....tailgating season will be here before we know it.

Ran into kehoe this morning and asked him about sunny. He said he's obviously still raw and needs to work on his fundamentals, but that based on what he's seen coaching nfl players, this kid has the tools to be in the league

Oh and guess where I saw him...IHOP!

I saw Tracy and Antonio in person in HS. I've said from day one before either got here, Antonio is better and will be better in college.

Sandland looks very average athletically.. Did not look like the same guy on video.. maybe hes just adjusting but he doesn't seem to run very well. Standish is huge...Crawford looks better than last year he can be a capable back up still can't believe we don't have a better stable of rbs at Miami because Dillard has NO explosion ... Offense with Morris dominated. drops are the only thing that stopped them... I'm nervous about Tracy, i think antonio Crawford is better..
