Well, the lady that's director of student of affairs was probably saying something about how there isn't a single student here that is happy about keeping Golden, and they all want to see him fired. Then she probably went on to say that the reason the students want Golden gone, is because they are using something called logic.

I will say though, all the people I've talked to in my classes have completely lost faith in Golden. And some are even done with Blake James. (About time).

So all of this is speculative, but these 2 events did occur today in campus.

Blake James was seen in the Student Activity Center (SAC) walking into meetings with people in suits who looked to have money. This is from what one of my close friends saw, and he knows enough about the situation to put two and two together. Not confirmed if it was BOT members.

Second, another one of my friends was walking behind Dr. Whitely, the VP of Student Affairs, and he heard her mention these three words in a sentence twice: "Fire Al Golden". He didn't hear the whole conversation nor the context of it.

All I got. Hang in there homies.

What context would anyone need for mentioning in a sentence TWICE ? "Fire Al Golden".

invest the $$$$ or be an also ran. pay the money to assistant coaches, improve facilities. cash from TV revenues are huge and where is all endowment money going ????

letting Golden go is like firing a mid level exec. and letting incompetent senior mgmt hang around.problems do not get fixed.

Actually, they would. I was on the Miami campus when Butch Davis left for Cleveland, and I overheard two BOT members having an angry, heated discussion about how much Butch screwed us etc. right out in the open.

majority of fans that actually attend games dont' want Golden around but feel like chants and banners are embarrassing.
majority of fans that want banners and chants don't actually go to any games.

as much as some people would want you to believe there are VERY few people who support Golden right now but the only people who actually matter in making noise are the ones with money and the BOT.. everything else is just noise.. this is not an SEC school where the town itself can kick a coach out. I think we more more FSU fans in Miami right now then Miami fans.

Yeah, in the student section at the game. Thats really not a place most students are going to do it. But if you just ask people in class, they will either say they don't care or he should be fired.
