Some Info for you guys:

RIP for Edna. My Faith prohibits me from speaking ill of the dead so no comment. Donna however is alive so, ***** her.

As to the rest, if they really want Al to leave they need to apply the right pressure. NOBODY is going to hire these two bums. So, stop supporting him in public. Come out and say he is holding THE U hostage and trying to get fired so he can collect. Trash mouth him at every turn. What is he going to do, intentionally lose more games -- is that possible. Be openly on OUR side for once in your frigging lives. Donna doesn't have a buyout so let the BOT fire her immediately for incompetence on two counts: 1) the nevin scadal 2) the extension for Al caused by it. The fan could then join in willingly to a combined effort to make Al's life so miserable that he packs up his two wives and moves to Utah.

No reason top not allow us to attend practices. That would just about do it. Every day he would have to hear us. ******* thinks he is the next coming of Joe Pa. Let our boos and jeers tell him the truth. Until AD, administration, BOT stop defending him and providing him protection, I will not believe one word of this crap. They are the problem and remain so until they become part of the solution.

By the way, we did very, very well with 4-5 year hamster wheel for coaches: Howard to JJ to Dennis to Butch to even Larry. It fell apart because frigging Larry was a loser nester like St Bobby and Joe Pa. The problem has been the coaches selected since Butch. No coach should a allowed to stay more than Five years. That would give them incentive to do well and get NFL job. Stop this love affair with demi-god coaches. Bring in hunger social climbers with a will to win not nest.

If you send that sonofabitich here to Utah I'll TP his ******* house and let my dog siht on his lawn!

This is 100% legit and im not bull ****ting anyone right now, but my uncle (actually my dads life long best friend not my uncle i just call him that) is a huge miami football fan. He used to work for some yacht place in Miami. The dude has money. Donates 25,000 every year and on top of that im pretty sure he was the marketing director at this place and set up the sponsorship they have (or used to have idk) with the yacht company and Miami. Well anyway he is close to several people at Miami and that have been at miami. One of them he talked to recently, former assistant AD, told him (like many of us believed) that money IS the issue. He has heard that more than likely the contract stated that if he was fired before 2015 the buyout would owe him a significant amount of money of the remaining contract. (Ive heard 80% from other articles online) that seems to match what he is saying. So basically they are debating on doing it this year and paying idk like $8 million or wait til after next year and pay $2-4 million. So expect a delay because of the debate but in the end he said doubts anything is going down this year other than maybe a few staff changes, "after the bowl game" if any.

If Kelly is unhappy I would imagine that he'll be taking the next available gig out of town.
Doesn't really surprise me if true either, Miami is a weird animal and I know a few people that have moved to the area and cannot wait to leave.

IMO Miami personifies the "nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there" adage.
I agree tbh. I'm a student here and love it but I don't plan on living here past college.

They're doubling down on their own ineptitude. Fans sure as **** weren't calling for Golden to be extended after going 6-6, that was entirely on the administration. And now that the situation is incredibly toxic with fans and former players, they're not going to fire him because of financial reasons that they are solely responsible for causing.

And as a result, they're hurting the players currently on the team, sinking us further into irrelevance by keeping a lame duck coach, sabotaging the next two recruiting classes, and doing irreparable harm to the program.

The administration seems to be well aware of the perception among fans that they don't care at all about UM football, which apparently gets them extremely rustled. Yet their actions are all that matter, which makes it perfectly clear that they just don't like being called out on their sabotage of this program.

i've said it so many times on other threads, golden can say he don't hear the noise all he wants, but that doesn't mean his wife doesn't. no woman wants her mate to be ripped apart the way we are trashing golden. al and mark and their spouses are like we gotta get out of here. golden has already set up an urban meyer situation. after we lost to nebraska, the first thing he said was he couldn't make a guest appearance on a radio show due to a family healthy issue. if kelly wants out, then he's gone...period.

That is a large amount of money. **** Saban probably doesnt have an $8 million buyout. They are on edge right now because of that amount of money, maybe there is a possible negotiation if he really wants out, or maybe the bowl game puts them over the edge. Dont count on a quick fire though, thats a lot of money and needs time for debate

We talking Jan 1, 2015 the buy out drops or after the 2015 season?

I dont know too much about buy outs and such, but can boosters or another university that wants him buy his contract out?

Buyout isn't $8 million... It's $5 million according to a booster.[/

Like i said he just said it is significantly higher before he finishes the 2015 season. So if it is only $5 million then it drops after next year to 2-3 million. I just read somewhere that said like 80% so i assumed if he makes roughly 10-11 million through 2019, 80% would be about 8 million. I never got a number i just have been told it is a large enough amount to keep them on edge about this year or waiting until next year.

He has to coach the 2015 season before the drop off

Problem is no one really knows what the real story of the buyout is. Ive heard several places, NOTHING official or "insider" that there may be an issue between this year and next year because of his extension and how much the buyout changes. Basically implying that the buyout would be significantly less next year. That has also been reported by some other uncorroborated supposed "insider" I know a guy that knows a guy type posts.

IF that is true, then the BOT is obviously just going to wait. They will use that, and not having the new Prez in place, to pass the buck for another year. These are not people that live and die by UM football.

?? Tell you about coaches who got 5 years? There's too many to name.

Point is that there are very few coaches who were fired before 5 years without a losing season or some controversy.

Kifffin was constantly embroiled in little controversies while at USC. He butted heads continually with Pat Haden, who hated him.

Mushcamp? Had a losing season and butted heads with admin.

Pretty much any other coach I can think of that was fired before a fifth year (Turner Gill, Charlie Weis, Bob Davie, Schnellenberger while he was at OU, go down the list....) all had either sat least one losing season or some sort of controversy.

Original quote: Name me a coach that was fired before year 5 without a losing season or major controversy.

Lane Kiffin. He was fired because he sucked and USC has/had real SANCTIONS (REAL UNLIKE OURS).

Will Muschamp actually had success (11 wins and Sugar Bowl), but he was fired.

Al Golden has had NO success. He doesn't deserve a fifth year. Coaches at real programs get fired and are not given 5 years especially when in year 4 you have the same record as year 1. How about the Penn State Controversy?

Will Muschamp also had a losing season...which was the whole ******* point.

What about the "PSU controversy?" That was only controversy to fans...no media ****storm, unlike Kiffin at USC or any other major controversy.

Golden hasn't had a losing season--although it sure as **** feels like he has.

I'm going to ask him if the company he works for still sponsors the school. He was in charge of getting the sponsor as the marketing director. If he asks where the money is going or something along those lines.. he will get an answer. Honestly though I'm not sure but like I said this isnt the first time I've read about the buyout, something is trending in the right direction on this to be true.

So Kelly is unhappy, but Al ain't goin' nowhere. OK, so why don't BJ act like he's got a pair and FORCE Golden to fire No D. If Blake knows it is a **** storm, why don't he force Al to bring in a new DC. That's the reason this may be BJ last year too. Can't spend my $$$ on this **** no more if some changes don't happen.

4) He has had struggles with Coley who is an aggressive scoring coach and has repeatedly encouraged him to run more and pass less to keep the defense off the field...

Well this explains the 2nd half meltdown we had against FSU. IMO, that 2nd half of that game changed the direction of the season.

...And this **** had the nerve to say that we didn't have the depth to win that game. Lol.

I absolutely believe this. I'd bet the farm that he is safe this year but will not survive 2015. Our only hope in the short term is that he just decides he wants out or another school hires him away (which seems extremely unlikely).

Muschamp did more then Golden. Call me when Al wins 11 games or goes to a BCS bowl.

Nobody gets 5 years at good programs with the track record Al has had. You made this up, we wait for all these coaches.

Michigan, USC and UF all cut ties without a fifth year. You're wrong. There is no good program that would tolerate this performance. Even RS was shown the door after 4 years with the almost identical record overall and a better record in year 4. Golden has done nothing. Deserves nothing either.

Agree. The problem with this kind of shortsighted thinking by the University though is that it neglects the damage of keeping him an extra year. Right now we're in a situation where a new HC could come in, win quickly, sign a monster class in '16 and still have 2 seasons left with Kaaya.

Now we're waiting another season, destroying the class of 2016, and the new coach gets 2 seasons of Kaaya with one of those being the transitional year. This is where the ignorance of the people in power is really killing us. They are thinking in terms of "one more year, cheaper buyout" rather than "one more year, much harder to win again"
