Miami did not want Treon as a QB they saw him as a WR/DB. FSU is willing to take him as a QB and thats all he needed to hear. Treon Harris was vehement in saying that he wanted to play QB in college, but then started lightening up a little toward the end because he figured that's where most college's want him. Now, do you really expect Coach Harris to sit there and tell HIS OWN SON "I don't care if they're gonna let you play QB, you're going to go to Miami." What type of dad is that? secondly what type of coach is that???.
This in no way is Harris ******** UM over, he saw the chance for his son to fulfill his dreams and said "Go for it' and you expect him to hold his son back from that just because you all believe he owe's something to Miami?
Lets get something straight here for the last time, nowhere and I mean NOWHERE in Coach Harris' contract does it say he is required to force all of his top products to go to UM. We are talking about 17 year old kids, the most he can do is push for UM and that's it. If you seriously expect him to force every single one of his kids to UM then you're just crazy.
1. What kind of coach really takes FSU's QB promise seriously and them not just not telling the kid what he wants to hear? What kind of dad?
2. That's not even the point. And no one is upset because he is not forcing or pushing kids to Miami. And no has implied that it his job to do so. That is a straw man and ****ing half. The complaints come from the ****ery he allows when it comes to UM. With allowing his players to play games with UM and use the UM offer and interest to hold "their place" rather than take it seriously. So please, stop with the "you want him to force kids to UM" bull**** because it's ****ing ridiculous and misses the entire point. With your capitalized "NOWHERE" and ****. ****ing Christ.
What kind of school pulls a kids scholarship six days before signing day?, one who Miami felt good with. And as far as the second part, he said it in my interview that he tries to hold his kids back from committing early and just stresses to them to maintain the relationships and wait off on committing. Jackson said it himself that he committed once he got the offer.
