Can't wait till some boosters at Bama pre order 20,000.00 player likeness jerseys then donate them to some third world country to get a donation under his belt, a name on some dirt road in Bolivia, and secure a recruit for his squad. This model is going to be great.

Its going to happen, no doubt. Its a win all the way around. Bama gets a blue chip, he gets paid some money, school makes some money and 1,000 kids in Kenya get a shirt.

Not only that, but they will write it off their taxes because its a donation. Get rekt.

I expect Bubba Jo's Auto Lot of Birmingham will be contracting for $250K per 5* recruit (only once they are signed and enrolled, of course) to put up a poster on the wall of his dealership. I'm sure he'll even throw in a 3 year lease on a brand new, crimson red Charger.

Yesterday, that was called an impermissible benefit. Today, it's a business expense.

Adidas, having UM has its main client for college football. commits to print 1000 or whatever amount jerseys of a Blue Chip upon signing with UM. at an agreed upon price to Blue Chip. Then donate or sell jersey to Blue Chips high school or local Miami youth league I don't expect creativity from the Athletic Dept/Blake James and the Feminist how take advantage of this ruling for the benefit of recruiting.

Players can not strike deals with the university and therefore have no right to profit from UM jerseys sells.
Their yearbook photo then, who cares. The people that got players paid the best under the table will be the best above the table as well. In your opinion where does an agent sell 200,000 signed likenesses of a college football player faster, Knoxville/Athens/South Bend or Miami?

Yup this is too easy. I might move to tucscaloosa and start a memorabilia store.

Memorabilia store “pre-sales” autographed photos. (This is really just the boosters contribution.)

Player signs with school is wired half up from, half when signs the photos.

but it get even easier than that.

Hey, we’d like to have a picture up at the car dealership of you. Come on down take a picture and pick out and ride.

Players getting paid they need to be taxed on that money. Right now people are not being taxed on the money they receive in the envelope. This could change the view as well as where kids go to school. Fl resident don't pay state income tax so this could definitely benefit Miami

So now the kids will be going bankrupt in college instead of the NFL.

All of those places sell more tickets than Miami.

The problem with the Miami market is competition. Endorsements from Dolphins, Head, and Marlins players would be competition for UM players. That competition doesn’t exists in the entire state of Alabama.

the advantage UM has would be free cars, boat rentals, clubs, etc.
