imo, the apparel and shoe game is more for college basketball than football since it means they have inside track on a future lottery pick who can sell shoes. no one gives a **** what an NFL player wears.
Agreed but that does not discount the possibility of Phil Knight (founder/CEO of Nike and big time Oregon alum/donor) offering something like this up to a 5 star kid if he chooses to sign with the Ducks.
As the guy who started the other thread noted, this will likely lead to all sorts of unknown events. Can Snoop Dogg offer a kid a spot in a rap video if he signs with USC? Can Rick Ross make that offer to a kid if he signs with UM? This worm hole might not have a bottom.
