If Rosier is the best, does Williams redshirt even if he is number 2? What happens to everyone else?

Keep in mind the effect it will have on Perry and Weldon.

I think Rosier starts. WIlliams redshirts. The other 2 stay.

Next year will be a cluster ***

Rosier starts, loses eventually to either Perry or Williams

Weldon will transfer by next year.

That *** Eye really hurt him and gave Williams a chance to get ahead of him. Unfortunately IMO he won't ever surpass Perry or Williams

Rosier starts 2018 as the starter. Williams dresses but does not play the first game or two. If the coaches are confident enough in Rosier, then Williams gets a shirt and N'Kosi is #2. If Rosier is shaky or gets hurt, coaches burn Williams' red shirt.

Next season, another open quarterback competition between Williams and Perry.

Cade gets a new bong.

agree if Williams redshirts, the other guys stay. If not, Weldon probably transfers.

I don't think anybody transfers this year unless its Weldon. Rosier is starter for opener. From what I've read, right now it's not really close for the #1 job. Williams redshirts this year. Next year Williams, Perry and Weldon fight it out for 1 and 2. 3rd guy may walk. Especially if the winner is Williams. Hopefully, at this point we'll be grooming another good freshman to provide a reload when our starter is ready to move on.

I want to see what kind of progress is made by both Williams being supposedly a film study junkie, and Perry now that he has a serious threat on his heels. I think Rosier's experience and knowledge of the system give him a pretty sizable advantage, so I'm eager to see if somebody can step up and force a real QB competition in fall camp. You know, one where Richt decides to make QBs live for a scrimmage or two again. If he does that, you'll know one of the kids has a real shot and Richt wants to see how they respond in the face of Gerald Willis and Joe Jackson when they're not going to pull up and how they maintain their composure after taking a few hits.

Rosier start till the 4th quarter, then Perry takes the helm. Weldon transfers even though I like him a lot and Williams catches a shirt.

Rosier gets the nod to start the year without question.

Perry gets some real playing time throughout the season because the coaches need to see if he's really can be "the guy" next year, or maybe this year.

Weldon is a wild card. Tough to say what'll happen with him.

William's will shirt because you're basically showing Perry and/or Weldon the door if he doesn't. That might be a good thing because at some point you have to thin out the herd at qb. Competition is great, but you can't go into every season trying to give meaningful reps to 4 guys.

Is it obvious to the qb's who the best is? Or do they all have me syndrome... If the writing is on the wall, leave now. If anyone transfers after summer, it shows Williams is the real deal..

Why would it matter if they transfer now or next year? The sooner they leave, the sooner we can use their scholarship on someone else. Give me the best guy right now and let the weak leave.

You don't want your number 2 to leave before the season. Injury to 1 you screwed.
