I won’t say most likely. I will say it’s possible. But yeah, good luck getting this team up to play well enough to win 3 straight weeks starting next week against NC State.

I will say this. We went 10-2 and beat NOBODY last year and I think finished 13th? And that was on the heels of 2 losses in 3 games. We know this won’t happen because we’re not allowed nice things, but this year 10-2 finishing with 4 straight wins and with actual wins against ranked and winning teams might get us in the back door (pause).

I’m sure we’ll steamroll Cuse. Then we’ll play really well and beat NC State convincingly, getting my pants a little tighter. Then we’ll go beat VT in a game that’s way closer than it should be, but the ball will bounce our way this time and we’ll escape. Then we’ll all say that was our late season hiccup, but we’re over it now, and we’ll kick *** at Pitt.

And then, completely out of nowhere, our Top 5 defense will get blown out of the building at Pitt, our offense will score a ton of points but we’ll lose a completely dumbfounding game 41-38.

Such is the life of a Miami fan.

I see it that way, win 3 in a row, be 10th or 11th heading into Pitt and lose by 3
 
He hasn't lost any fans.

He hasn't gained any either.

The devout followers will continue to prostrate at the altar & make every excuse known to man to absolve our patron Saint of his continual shortcomings.

But as the saying goes, there's always next year...

This very well may be his last legitimate chance to ever win a NC. He absolutely should care about losing the fan base because we all know where that road leads

Coaches always say don’t worry about fans, but trust to a certain degree they do, where do you think “home field advantage” comes from, the ****** fans lol

You’re right Syracuse is 97% a W. But other than that NC state and Pitt are 50/50, and Virginia Tech is more probable than those 2. I think we’ll lost at least one more, probably finish 9-3 regular season

I hear you and can understand being disappointed. Losing the fan base over back to back 10 wins is ridiculous. This is why you don’t listen to fans.

2024: 10-3
2023: 7-6
2022: 5-7
2021: 7-5
2019: 6-7
2018: 7-6

Mario has improved the team tremendously. I get being disappointed but less not get crazy with it.

Syracuse is so bad we may beat them
After that it wouldn’t surprise me if we lose last three

Crappy conference teams coach circles around our pop warner coaches

You can’t lose TWO games in this dog**** conference and expect to get in
