So does Mario realize he's lost the fanbase?

100% agreed sad but true
In a NIL, playoff world, it's a lot more likely he gets hot once and goes on a CFP run and be what he has always been(9-3/10-2)than it is for Miami to fire him, eat the buy out and find someone that is significantly better. We have historical evidence of what happens when fanbases run good, but not great coaches out. Ask a Gator if they would rather have Mullen, ask Nebraska about whether Solich sounds a lot better than being trash for decades. Don't be like Tennessee, who was awful for years, hit on a quality coach and are now trying to run him out of town.

If you worry about what the fans think, you’ll be sitting with them.

He needs to worry about beating Syracuse. As we’ve seen the past 20 years, these November losses come in bunches.
Exactly. Get this team ready to play Saturday. Find a way to win out. That's all I ask. I know it is unlikely, but I'd be beyond happy if Miami was even in the convo for the CFP after the regular season ended...

The majority of the fanbase isn't CIS unfortunately.

Could care less. He’ll get a bucket of water thrown on him when he sees the 20 k at Joe Robbie on Saturday for Cuse and his team goes through the motions.
I mean I don’t think Cuse was going to be a sellout regardless of the SMU outcome. They’re terrible and we should win by 40.

As a fan, he hasn’t lost me yet. You can throw all the negative emojis at me but I’d rather be real than say otherwise. I mean we’re 6-2 and ranked #18. We beat our 3 biggest rivals handily. Sure we haven’t won every game nor have we been perfect, but we’re right there in those 2 losses despite playing like dog****. I’d have to do the math, but in our last 5 losses, the average margin is probably less than 5 points or something like that. It’s not that bad. It’s not what we want but I don’t consider it fireable. Does anyone remember Al Golden’s 2013 team who was stacked with future NFL starters and some pro bowlers and how they got absolutely trounced by Duke in Durham? Since Mario has gotten a roster of his guys, we haven't been absolutely embarrassed by an inferior opponent or equivalent. Manny’s team in 2020 was decent. Went up to Clemson and got absolutely hammered and remember that home loss against UNC where our defense gave up 700 yards of offense or something crazy? Yeah, those weren’t good times. Mario’s teams actually do show up in big games. Last year we were a game away from the CFP, maybe even a couple plays away. Others have mentioned if Mario goes, so does all the NIL money and resources. Do we really think we’ll be able to bring guys like Ward here and keep players like Bain from bouncing without that 💰? Doubtful.

You guys are so ******* delusional and I’m not saying you shouldn’t be ****ed and frustrated but Mario has a $61 million buyout and was the chosen person of the people who have the money and make the decisions at Miami still. He’s going nowhere and therefore, he cares even less about the fans that he didn’t care about Before.

So is this a bad time to promote Canes Connection?

When we get curbstomped by our own doings for the second time in the same season (again), I find it incredibly infuriating to think of all the times and ways I've been asked to donate to the University so that Carson Beck can have a Lamborghini and Mario can be Tony Montana Jr living la vida loca while they expect me to live la vida broke-a. It is beyond f.uc.king insulting.

I'm not Jon Ruiz or a Mas Bro, but if we ain't winning, I'm done giving....

He literally said during his press conference today that he doesn't care about the fans. Only the people in the building (team and staff). Not exactly those words, but basically.

I do think he knows the SMU loss is his worst yet at Miami.
I think he hears the noise. I also think he hates to fail and he knows that this season is a failure.... He won't say that but his demeanor tells you that. I also think he saw and heard the noise from those former Miami players /coaches. Lashlee certainly didn't care... I've seen some of the parents of those kids posting stuff too..
