So does Mario realize he's lost the fanbase?

You guys are so ******* delusional and I’m not saying you shouldn’t be ****ed and frustrated but Mario has a $61 million buyout and was the chosen person of the people who have the money and make the decisions at Miami still. He’s going nowhere and therefore, he cares even less about the fans that he didn’t care about Before.
i think you're kidding yourself. He cares. They all care. They may not agree with the assessment of the fans but they care.

It affects the team. He and the staff, offense in particular, let the team and the donors down.

In a NIL, playoff world, it's a lot more likely he gets hot once and goes on a CFP run and be what he has always been(9-3/10-2)than it is for Miami to fire him, eat the buy out and find someone that is significantly better. We have historical evidence of what happens when fanbases run good, but not great coaches out. Ask a Gator if they would rather have Mullen, ask Nebraska about whether Solich sounds a lot better than being trash for decades. Don't be like Tennessee, who was awful for years, hit on a quality coach and are now trying to run him out of town.
the most difficult thing with Mario is that he does some things at a top notch level NIL, recruiting, portal etc. something is not right in the fact that they hit Nov. and it is all down hill . not sure what all the issues are but Mario needs a moment of self reflection. why not be a CEO/GM and leet the OC/DC hires run their units. look at your approach to fall practice and practices between games
hire an assistant coach with experience to have a second set of eyes on in game mgmt.I am not in favor of firing him due to the fact of knowing the cabinet is always stocked with talent but he needs to adjust his program to break thru the 8,9,win barrier and losing to teams where he has a massive talent advantage. start coaching to win rather than coaching not to lose. let great players do great things

If you worry about what the fans think, you’ll be sitting with them.

He needs to worry about beating Syracuse. As we’ve seen the past 20 years, these November losses come in bunches.
I think there is a lot of disention on this team. Who plays ,who gets paid more ,who gets more press, and who’s only goal is the NFL. This is not a team it’s just a place to audition for the next level. Mario cares he just cant get the “TEAM” to care.

I think he hears the noise. I also think he hates to fail and he knows that this season is a failure.... He won't say that but his demeanor tells you that. I also think he saw and heard the noise from those former Miami players /coaches. Lashlee certainly didn't care... I've seen some of the parents of those kids posting stuff too..
Does he hate change too ?

Nor should he. The donors, the people who actually do something for the program are who he needs to keep happy. Our fanbase is what it is, and always will be: a bunch of irrational, annoying front runners that haven’t learned anything from us wandering the desert for the last two decades…

Mario is what he is: a talent accumulator that isn’t good on gameday. He wins a ton of coin flip games, while losing games he should have no business losing. The issue is that the odds of upgrading from him are significantly worse than the odds of hiring a train wreck. It’s purgatory, but it’s a purgatory we can live with, or at least until the wheels fall off.
The odds of hiring a better coach are much higher than hiring someone worse. The main issue is the supposed lack of NIL support of Mario leaves.

Well when the stadium starts being empty im sure he’ll care

The only thing that could make him care enough to take his fingers off of anything regarding X and Os is his NIL and booster support telling him he’s done. May not seem like that will happen now but if this cascades again he’ll hear it eventually…He’s got what, 6 years left in his contract?

IT’S ALMOST BANNER SEASON :6fps6:🛩️ #DaPlane

How insulated is he? Does he ignore all the outside stuff and is he oblivious? Dawson certainly knew everyone was ****ed about the constant up the gut runs so they have to hear things. Will Mario address this specifically?
He has 8 or 9 million reasons not to give a **** my friend.

Life doesn't work like that.Money is a big deal to those who lack it.Mario's been a millionaire for years and that doesn't dictate his feelings or insecurities.

He's not only lost his fan base and deep down inside I'm sure many of the players are very tired of losing. I expect a mass exodus of good players. These kids are smart and realize Mario is out coached and out smarted every game.
Yep scott, Bain and Demari were all gone last year per CIS
Same recycle BS again

While I get what most of y'all are saying about him not caring what we think, step one to getting fired is losing the fanbase. Next is the locker room, then the boosters, then the people who can actually fire him. He loves the idea of being the saviour of the U, of being the guy to bring Miami "back". In my opinion this **** is killing him. Whether it's killing him enough to change remains to be seen
