Recruiting is a marathon, not a sprint.

Yea n we always fall before the finish line n we start out fast. Elite programs sprint the last 2 months.

Wasn't everyone killing Franchise cause he was saying Golden doesn't finish strong in recruiting?

We finished with Bush McCord and Howard the last two months in 2012. We landed Coley Grace Elder and Griffin(if he qualifies) last season. I understand we lost on MT6 and Kirkland last season. And everyone believed Collins to UM was a done deal. So this season he "MAY" keyword may, lose a recruit to a school with a more favorable depth chart at his position. That isn't Goldens fault. And, he hasn't left yet. So if everyone will calm the f*** down, we could see the bigger picture. There is no guarantee the kids leaves.

We've let more elite talent walk than we've kept, and that's always a problem. People like to watch the FSU game and say "we just aren't there yet talent wise," but then hold a pep rally when we bring in some 3-star kid with crappy offers.

We have about 5-6 elite south Florida kids committed, but whiffed on these:

Lane
Rudolph
Jackson
Valentine
Dixon
Harris


That's not gonna put you over the edge anytime soon.
